| 36 | 02.12.2022 | DarkPrince | 6.0 | Die Erste Hälfte (Die ersten 3 Matches) waren wirklich komplett inordnung und konnte man sich durchaus angucken. Das Six Way Women's Tag Team Match war Inordnung. Paar Solide Spots, auch wenn es in manchen Phasen und Situationen etwas unathletisch aussah. Das Team der Faces geht hier Over, was die richtige Entscheidung gewesen ist (***1/4). Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest war dann sehr stark und ein Spot bleibt dann natürlich im Kopf. Der böse Aufprall von Priest auf den unteren Teil der Treppe. Auch wenn dieser Spot so geplant war, sah es doch schon extrem böse aus wie Priest auf der Treppe gelandet ist, dadurch das er etwas zu weit gefallen ist (****). Johnny Gargano vs. Keith Lee um den NXT North American Championship war einfach nur inordnung. Fand das einzigst wirklich besondere an diesem Match war der Pounce gegen Gargano von Lee, durch die Plexiglas Scheibe. Sonst war das Match einfach nur Solide und beide haben ganz gut miteinander gearbeitet (***1/4). Danach wird es etwas Komisch. Velveteen Dream vs. Adam Cole im Backlot Brawl Fight, war wirklich garnicht mein Geschmack und ich war ehrlich froh, als das wieder vorbei gewesen ist. Und komplett enttäuscht war ich dann von Ciampa vs. Kross. Kross Squasht hier Ciampa komplett weg und wird einfach aufgebaut, wie der übelste "Übermensch". Bin Garkein Fan davon, einen "neuen" Superstar viel stärker aufzubauen, als einen ehemaligen NXT Champion. Das Match hätte durchaus gut werden können. Mit 15 Minuten Matchzeit hätte man auch hier einen Karrion Kross gut und gerne Stark aufbauen können. Main Event war dann das Match of the Night und für mich eines der besten Women's Triple Threat Matches, die ich je gesehen habe. Unglaublich schnelles Wrestling, schnelle Spots und eine Gute Stimmung unter den 3 Frauen. Man konnte ihnen ansehen das sie Lust auf dieses Match gehabt haben und das haben sie auch wie erwähnt gezeigt (****1/2). Auch wenn die Show mir durch die besonderen Vorkommnisse auf der Welt nicht wirklich gefallen hat und einfach die Stimmung der Fans gefehlt hat, muss ich sagen das es trotzdem was besonderes gewesen ist und gute Matches hat man auch geboten bekommen. Alleine der Backlot Brawl und Karrion Kross vs. Ciampa haben mir einfach überhaupt nicht gefallen. Finde 6 Punkte gehen hier inordnung. |

Opening six woman tag was solid for what it was and a nice showcase for the women. Priest vs Balor was great. I thought Priest held his own well against the experienced veteran. This could have gone either way. NA title match was excellent and I liked the usage of the key towards the end. Two different styles but they worked very well. Now the NXT title match could have been fun but honesty it was just there. I felt like it was just a way to give Cole one final successful defense. In no way did it seem like Dream could win, but his Negan outfit was a high point. Kross picks up the upset win against Ciampa in a match that happened. I can see why the main event was thought of as MOTN, even though I found it pretty good at best. At times it felt a bit slow or sloppy but I cannot say that the women did not deliver. They did well, and Shirai deserved the win. This show was solid and honestly I liked it for the In Your House throwback.. and Todd Pettengill. |

(**1/4) The main event was MOTN with Io Shirai finally winning the NXT Women's Title (****) Overall, good PPV but, pretty weak in some areas. |

Die Damen kicken das Ding mit Schwung, aber ohne Bedeutung, Balor auf dem Weg 'was-weiss-ich-wohin' und dann Lee und Gargano mit meinem persönlichen MOTN, aber auch nicht am oberen Ende der Skala. An Cole und dem Dream scheiden sich offensichtlich die Geister und am Ende ist der Titelverlust Charlottes konsequent absehbar, aber darstellerisch seriös. Für ein Take Over dann aber eher lauwarm, ansonsten aber okay. |

Während des Matches prügeln sich Candice Larae und Mia Yim aus der Arena und sind nicht mal beim Finish mit dabei, was natürlich gut für die Weiter Bearbeitung der Fehde ist, aber brauchte ich nicht. Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest 1 von 2 Matches Of The Night für mich. Damian Priest hat sich in seiner Wrestling Journey von ROH bis hin zu NXT wie ich finde deutlich verbessert und über Finn Balor braucht man nicht viel sagen, außer das ich einfach wieder froh bin das er bei NXT ist. Einer der besten im NXT Roster. Das einzige was es vielleicht noch zu meckern gibt ist das, dass ich das Match viel zu kurz fand (****1/2). Keith Lee vs. Johnny Gargano war ein Gutes Solides Match, obwohl ich sagen muss das mir mittlerweile bei Keith Lee alles so Monoton wirkt. Aber das er hier den Titel Verteidigt denke ich war aber auch klar (***1/2). Velveteen Dream vs. Adam Cole ist nicht mein Fall. Wie schon häufiger erwähnt in meinen Bewertungen, halte ich von Ciniastischen Matches absolut Gar nix und da muss schon einiges passieren um bei mir ein "Gut" raus zu quetschen. Adam Cole verteidigt was ich auch gehofft habe. Auf Karrion Kross vs. Tommaso Ciampa habe ich mich mit am meisten Gefreut. Nur um dann enttäuscht zu werden. Ich finde es okey das man Kross so stark aufbauen will und ihn direkt in Richtung NXT Championship pushen will, aber bitte nicht so, wo er einen immer noch bis dato Main Eventer und NXT Original komplett in 6 Minuten zerstört. Das ist für mich absolut der falsche Weg und grade bei NXT sollte man das normalerweise wissen. Generell muss ich sagen das ich die Matchzeit bei Takeover: In Your House einfach unglaublich kurz fand. Keith Lee gegen Johnny Gargano 20 Minuten zu geben war Okey, aber zum Beispiel Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest, Adam Cole vs. Velveteen Dream und dem Triple Threat Main Event nur knapp 15 Minuten zu geben (Zu dem Ich jetzt noch komme), ist einfach nur traurig. Vorallem wenn man bedenkt das der Event nur 2H15M ging. Aufjedenfall nochmal zu Kross vs. Ciampa. Karrion Kross zu Pushen ist gut. Aber nicht so. Der Main Event ist dann das 2/2 meiner Matches of the Night. Alle 3 haben gut miteinander gearbeitet und auch das Set gut mit eingebaut. Der botch beim Finish war dann unschön, wertet das Match aber trotzdem nicht weiter runter. Io als neue NXT Women's Championesse bin ich absolut mit zufrieden (****1/2). Fazit: Für mich der Schlechteste NXT Takeover Event den es bis jetzt je gab, aber als "schlecht" kann man es auch nicht wirklich bezeichnen. Sagen wir, es war halt nicht das was man normalerweise von NXT erwartet. Auch grade dann wenn die Erwartungen immer so hoch sind. Ich bin jedoch immer noch der Meinung und dazu stehe ich auch. dass NXT, das Beste Produkt Pro Wrestling's in NA ist. |

Balor vs Priest was an amazing match considering few had opted for them to deliver in that level (****). Much more was expected from Johnny Takeover vs Keith Lee but they underperformed (***1/4). Backlot Brawl wasn't anything special except for Dexter Lumis showing up to further his storyline with the UE. Kross vs Ciampa was basically a near to squash match with Kross announcing his arrival in style, Kross' performance was unbelievable (**1/2). Main Event didnt disappont, fairytale ending & some great spots including the crossbody from the IYH were the highlights of the match, Io Shirai deserves it, Charlotte & Rhea performed equally well (****). I cannot seem to give this show more than 7 points. Balor/Priest & Charlotte/Io/Rhea best matches of the night, Gargano/Lee could have done better. |

The In Your House theme, while a nice bit of nostalgia, seemed like somewhat of a random overlay and could have been played up a bit more as a reference to our current quarantine days, though I did like the house key utilization and door-cam angle during Lee-Gargano. |

Priest vs. Balor und Gargano vs. Lee waren beide ordentlich, Balor vs. Priest hat mir aber ein klein wenig besser gefallen, da die Matchzeit besser passt und das Match damit kompakter ist. Gargano vs. Lee war mir zu lang und das Match verliert mich zwischenzeitlich kurz. Das NXT Title Match war weder schlecht, noch in irgendeiner Weise gut. Ich fand die Eingriffe sehr nervig und der Uber Spot hat nicht in das Match gepasst. Lustig ja aber sollte das Match überhaupt lustig sein? Ich denke nicht. Wie gesagt, das alles ist nicht schlecht, kein Fremdschämen aber irgenwie hat das Match so gar nichts, was mich irgendwie begeistern könnte. Langweilig? Vielleicht ein wenig aber es kam bei mir nicht, wie das Grudge Match überhaupt an. Kross vs. Ciampa mag von der Story her Sinn machen, bei TakeOver für mich aber unglücklich platziert, da es einfach nichts besonderes ist. Es war im Prinzip ein verlängerter Squash. Und das Lip Synch von Scarlett ist einfach peinlich. Main Event war wieder sehr ordentlich und zieht dann nochmal nach oben, auch wenn das Finish gebotcht aussah und Charlottes Timing nicht immer passt. Zudem hat man es damit verpasst einer Wrestlerin einen großen Push mit einem Pinfall über Charlotte zu geben. |

Der Opener war ok. Dieses Match hätte auf einer Weekly NXT einen besseren Platz behalten. Auch hatte mich das Match etwas enttäuscht, da ich mir mehr Action versprochen hatte und es letztendlich nur ein soldies 10 Minütiges Match war. Das folgende Match aber hat mich wirklich positiv überrascht. Hier hatte man kaum bis gar keinen Aufbau, aber das Match an sich war gut. Die vielen harten Spots haben diesem Match wirklich gut getan(***3/4). Das ist klar das beste Priest match in NXT. Lee vs Gargano war gut. Das war gutes pures Wrestling. Auch hat mir die psychologie gefallen, das Gargano zwar 3 mall kleiner ist, aber mit Tricks denn Titel gewinnen will. Der Spot durch das Plexiglas bleibt denn meisten im Kopf(***1/2). Cole vs Dream Match war meh. Es war ein Brawl durch denn ganzen Parkplatz. Es gab zwar gute Spots, wie der fall von Cole ins Glas oder der Canadian Destroyer auf die Stühle um das Match zu beenden. Jedoch war keine Spannung vorhanden und auch die Kameraarbeit war hier nicht gelungen. Damit geht Coles Titelherrschaft weiter. Kross vs Ciampa hat mir absolut nicht gefallen. Cross der nichts gezeigt hat und bis jetzt nach nicht wirklich viel im Ring aussieht besiegt einen der besten NXT Champion in einem Squash Match. Ein normaler Sieg hätte es auch getan, um auch die Fähigkeiten von Korss zu präsentieren. Das war das schwächste Match am Abend. Der Main Event war richtig gut(****1/4). Es gab immer Action von allen drei Frauen und viele Spots wie der Dive vom Haus von Shirai. Auch gewinnt Shirai hier denn Titel, was ein super Pay-off war. Das war ein richtig gutes Ende zu einer sonst soliden Takeover. |
