A action-packed 8-min match of the lucha variety! The type of match perfect to warm the crowd up. Low Ki -vs- Chandler Hopkins [* 1/2] Secure Low Ki bout, but at least Hopkins got to look half-decent. Mance Warner -vs- Jimmy Havoc - (No Ropes Barbed Wire Match) [** 3/4] Bloody barbed wire battle! Trashy without going too trashy, and I quite liked the nastiness of it."

[8.0] "Opening 3-way tag was all action, no pause for breath and just really fun. The Mexican guys did some amazingly fluid technical moves, no hesitations and everything was done with such speed. I was very impressed with Hopkins, he has an interesting and somewhat unique moveset. Looking forward to more. Low Ki was his standard self, very safe and put on his usual match. Warner and Havoc was heavily edited on the Freesports version and it was ruined. But the Youtube full length version had a lot more of the brutal work we've come to expect from these two. Only complaint was the underuse of the barbed wire ropes, but I don't blame them for that. Mance bled a lot! PK at ringisde helped too. Overall, a great start to this round of MLW Fusion."
