[3.0] "Bold move to have two guys that debuted last year main event this Korakuen Hall show, but neither convinced or created much fanfare during their long and slow battle. On paper the most interesting match-up was Taka & Taichi facing fellow Suzuki-gun guys Desperado/DOUKI in a NJPW spin-off bout. Unfortunately it became as uninspired as feared, focusing mainly on DOUKI having beef with Taichi and looking weak standing-up to him. That meant that the ladies stole the show with Stardom's Hayashishita defending her belt against Maika. Maika was later asked to join Giulia faction. "Utami/Maika was a good match but the story of the match was kinda weird with Maika being in control during the first part of the match, considering Utami is the invader here that would've made more sense and increased the heat of the match early on. Then they had a back and forth during the 2nd part of the match using judo throw and stiff shots hitting each other fairly hard. Finish was simple and maybe a bit too soon but fit-in for a match 3rd from the top. (**3/4)"
