[5.0] "Good show, but the worst year-starter for Wrestle-1 in years, if not ever. That's not a big knock as these shows are usually some of the best the promotion produces each year, but it's clear steam (or money rather) is running-out of Wrestle-1 as they've since announced closing doors. Jun Tonsho & Kai Fujimura & MAZADA -vs- Andy Wu & El Hijo del Pantera & Seiki Yoshioka [**] Motivated action, but little else. Cyrus -vs- Ryuki Honda [*] Trying to find their own Vader, having a guy completely copy.... Vader, except for the costume. Shotaro Ashino & Kuma Arashi -vs- Seigo Tachibana & Yoshitatsu [**] Solid, with a guest from AJPW. Masayuki Kono & Yusuke Kodama -vs- Alejandro & Takanori Ito [* 3/4] Okay too, but not much life to it otherwise. Masato Tanaka -vs- Pegaso Iluminar - (Pegaso Iluminar 5 Match Trial Series 5th) [* 1/2] Glamour squash, and I can't say Iluminar looked too impressive against the hard hitting veteran. T-Hawk & El Lindaman -vs- Kaz Hayashi & Ganseki Tanaka [** 1/4] Strong Heart continue to deliver, even if not much got established here. Shuji Kondo -vs- Manabu Soya [* 1/2] Wrestle-1 vets showing they didn't have enough passion for the promotion. Shigehiro Irie (c) -vs- Koji Doi - (OWE Openweight Title) [** 3/4] This was good. Could have gotten a greater response, but the foundation and effort was here. I liked this. Daiki Inaba (c) -vs- Katsuhiko Nakajima - (WRESTLE-1 Title) [** 1/2] Clear class difference. The guy that carried NOAH for years against Wrestle-1's new champ, in what was almost a glamour squash as well. A little more story and heart, but Nakajima made Wrestle-1 look minor league for this one."
