[8.0] "Beautiful, beautiful show. Daichi vs. Yuya Heavy vs. Junior match went exactly as it should've; Daichi dominated the guy, never gave much up, and then finishes him off with one of the gnarliest DDTs I've ever seen. The way he lifted him up, he basically guillotine'd him before planting his head into the mat. Incredible stuff. One storyline I enjoyed was the second match where after handily beating two thirds of the trios champions Nakanoue and Hama recruit Morihiro as their third to challenge for the titles. That is a really good way to get interest on a rookie by thrusting him into something that isn't too high stakes but is notable enough that it still feels important. The junior-heavy tag with TAJIRI and Abe going at it was awesome. Drew Parker is such a wee rascal! Yankees vs Yuji and Irie was really reaaally good. Seeing Kodaka bring out techniques like the GENTARO Clutch to try slip out of Okabayashi's powerbomb is so fuckin sick. Nomura vs. Kazuki was pretty good, I would say it was hampered by an issue that was low-key running wild throughout the show which is that referee Nakatani was not keeping his eyes on the shoulders. It got pretty annoying when Kazuki's shoulders were basically breakdancing but Nakatani just kept counting anyway because it was the scripted finish. Not Kyohei Wada standard! But this blame lies not with the spirited warriors. Loved this show."
