[7.0] "The TV Title tournament was awesome. Yeah the matches in the first and second round were short but the action hit hard. Murdoch and Maff was way better then I thought it was going to be. The real show stealer was the women's title. Thunder Rosa was red hot and the right choice was made. Ricky Starks winning felt great but he was not long for the company after this."

[5.0] "My first look at modern NWA. It's a time-travel to a simpler time. Easier digestible matches, often short. Matches that have actual meaningful promos leading up to them. Production a flashback to the 80s, and by modern eyes, a step backwards, but with a clearer view of what one is watching. I like the niche idea of this. I doubt many of their matches will make my big star-rating lists, but it's a very comfortable watch. Trevor Murdoch -vs- The Question Mark - (NWA Television Title Tournament - Round 1) [*], Dan Maff -vs- Zicky Dice - (NWA Television Title Tournament - Round 1) [* 1/4], Ricky Starks -vs- Matt Cross - (NWA Television Title Tournament - Round 1) [*], Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson (c) -vs- Eli Drake & James Storm -vs- Royce Isaacs & Thomas Latimer - (NWA Tag Title) [**], Allysin Kay (c) -vs- Thunder Rosa - (NWA Women's Title) [** 1/2] The women had the best match on the NWA PPV! Also given the most time to do their thing. A couple of rocky moments, but otherwise solid. Thunder Rosa is definitely one of the female wrestlers on a massive rise at the moment, and she can carry herself real well. Trevor Murdoch -vs- Dan Maff - (NWA Television Title Tournament - Semi-Final) [* 1/2], Ricky Starks -vs- Tim Storm - (NWA Television Title Tournament - Semi-Final) [* 1/4], Aron Stevens (c) -vs- Scott Steiner - (NWA National Title) [1/2*], Nick Aldis (c) -vs- Flip Gordon - (NWA Title) [** 1/4], Ricky Starks -vs- Trevor Murdoch - (NWA Television Title Tournament - Final) [**]"

[7.0] "A solid show whose biggest crime was being a bit too match-packed for its own good. Maybe it would've been better to put the first round matches of the TV Title Tourney on Powerrr, so the matches on the PPV had a bit more time to breathe? This was not bad by any means though, with Thunder Rosa and Allysin Kay stealing the show in their Women's Title bout, along with a solid cross-promotion World Title match between Aldis and Gordon, a fun three-way Tag Title match, and a tournament final match that did well in making Starks look like a new star on the rise. Overall the event wasn't quite as strong as Into the Fire, but another good entry in NWA's modern-day history nonetheless."

[7.0] "The NWA's second PPV was fun and delivered. The first three first round matches all did their job and setting the upcoming tournament matches. Starks vs Cross was the best of the bunch given the competitors involved, and the Question Mark losing was a shocker. Tag titles match was really fun for the time given. The true wild card team wins by pinning a now former champ. Good action here from all 6 men. Kay and Rosa had the best match up to this point. Despite some rough parts, this was a fantastic hard hitting match. From the stiff strikes, to the tombstone piledriver to the finish, the two women did great here, and it was time for a new champ as Kay seemed to have run her course as champ. Looking forward to where this new reign takes us. The two semi-finals were solid, with Murdoch pulling off a shock upset and Starks having a solid bout with Tim Storm. Stevens vs Steiner was the low point of the show. Whatever was built with Stevens and the Question Mark was completely destroyed and buried. Aldis and Flip had a good match and a solid showcase for the title, but I'll admit the match felt like the title was never on the line. Didn't have the urgency it needed to feel like a title match. Felt like a regular 1-1 match, which would have been good without the title being on the line. Gotta say, Starks being dropped over the drop rope and face first into the floor made me cringe. I felt that one. Very fun main event that played to the size and experience difference. Once the finals were set, it was clear who the winner would be. Both men should be applauded for their performances during the show. An overall good show from the NWA. Too many matches but that was expected."

[7.0] "A reasonably good show with some enjoyable stuff in it. In the ring the women definitely blew away anything else we saw here, by a huge margin, so credit to both ladies. I liked the vibe of the tournament a lot but I think it did suffer from all the matches being so short, and from the major favorite Tim Storm being eliminated with zero fanfare. Trevor Murdoch definitely impressed the most in the tournament so I'm a bit sad he didn't get the belt, but Starks is ok. I think NWA should move away from the really old wrestlers like RnR and Steiner, and Flip didn't seem like he meshed very well with Aldis, but I'm excited about the Aldis/Scurll storyline going forward."

[8.0] "Actually really enjoyed this show. More than Into the Fire. Trevor Murdoch was no doubt the MVP of the night. Top 3 matches, 1. Nick Aldis vs Flip Gordon - ***3/4. 2. Trevor Murdoch vs Ricky Starks ***1/2 3. Thunder Rosa vs Allysin Kay ***1/2 (Although i wish they would have done the submission finish when the crowd was flaming hot instead of the semi-hot reaction from the pin. ) Honorable mention to the absolute heavyweight throwdown of Murdoch vs Maff"
