[10.0] "This was a very fun episode, with two great title matches, and the rest of the card being solid. Things kicked off with the match of the night, as Adam Page and Kenny Omega defended their World Tag Team Titles against SCU. Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara then had a decent match although they never quite seemed to click. Nyla Rose won the Women's World Title from Riho in a match that easily could have been the match of the night if the feed hadn't cut for part of it. MJF and Jungle Boy put on a surprisingly good match leading into a bit of an underwhelming main event between Jon Moxley and Santana."

[6.0] "An ok episode of Dynamite with the opening tag team title match being the only really decent match from it - the rest of the matches besides the Guevara Dustin matches were decent aswell but nothing great"

[9.0] "Four good-to-great matches (plus one mediocre one) is great for a weekly TV episode. Something that's possibly even more encouraging is that the Riho vs Nyla Rose match is the MOTN, which is a huge turnaround for a women's division that was in the doldrums beforehand. None of the matches are all-timer TV matches, but it's a great model of consistency. The best Dynamite so far."

[9.0] "This was an awesome edition of early Dynamite and the best one I have covered so far in the watch-through from the formation of the company. All the matches on this card I considered good, and 3/5 I thought were great. I enjoyed all the segments on this show minus the Dark Order shenanigans and the Britt Baker promo. Enjoyed Dustin Rhodes verbally destroying Jake Hager. This show also had a very effective debut for Jeff Cobb as Jericho's hired hitman. This show was a blast to watch and they had good momentum going in February 2020."

[7.0] "Kenny Omega & Adam Page (c) -vs- Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky - (AEW Tag Title) [*** 1/2] I liked this one better than their title change a few weeks earlier. The pace sat right with me and the lay-out always had one guessing. Omega/Page felt like a big deal, but sly teamwork of Kazarian/Scorpio kept the challengers in the game. This might lack that super memorable moment to make it a classic, but the overall foundation of their work still made it a classy tag bout. Dustin Rhodes -vs- Sammy Guevara [**] Not the best showcase for Guevara, a little shaky in execution and he was mainly there to make Dustin look good while the real focus was on Jake Hager on the outside. Did have its TV moments, like Dustin almost punching Sammy's tooth out. No doubt Dustin came off as the old-timer wanting to fight. Riho (c) -vs- Nyla Rose - (AEW Women's Title) [** 1/2] David vs Goliath matches are always fun. We've seen them do this stuff before, Riho managed to do some damage jumping from high places, but the size and power of the transgender wrestler was too much to overcome this time, and that's how it felt like this time, so not even the result popped my reaction. MJF -vs- Jungle Boy [** 1/4] Slow and MJF dominated. Solid at establishing its key bits, but I can't say it was a great match overall. Then there was that odd "dead-lift"powerbomb moment where signals between them seemed to he off, taking one out of Jungle Boy's comeback. Good only for MJF. Jon Moxley -vs- Santana [**] Never got too much into this. Weird seeing Santana in a singles bout, I guess. The end was straight out of a blindfold match, but thankfully they didn't fumble too long in the dark."

[6.0] "Solid TV show with 2 good TV bouts. I really don't see how this show has such a high rating, but I'm glad people enjoyed it more than I did. I already dropped Dark, might drop Dynamite soon. I'll decide after Revolution."

[8.0] "Another typical Dynamite show, lots of little surprises and really solid wrestling combined with 3 teasing promos and one big shock. The tag title match was good again, the use of high risks moves perfectly balanced and timed. SCU played the well oiled tag team role in contrast to the sporadic teamwork from Page and Kenny. It was a well worked match from bell to bell. Dustin and Sammy were good again and another match all the better for the obvious difference in styles between the two wrestlers. I'm enjoying Sammy's work more and more each week as his character develops. Rose and Riho was a pleasant surprise and equal to their first title match. Riho carried the match with her well timed technical moves. Nyla was impressive in her power moves and nowhere near as sloppy or dangerous as usual. MJF's corny heel work has made an impression on me and I now hate him, mission accomplished. I still long for more in the ring though and his insistence on old fashioned heel moves is frustrating. The match though was quite well connected for two inexperienced guys. The main event was okay, working the eyes is fine as it fits the story but it is not exactly enthralling. The end sequence was nothing new, until the shock appearance, which again means Dynamite ends with fans hot for the next show!"

[8.0] "Good Episode // Opener was great, finish - intentionally - weird/questionable. Involvement of Dark Order at the beginning was good, the segment after the match wasn't. We don't need a short preview of how a battle royal works. Dark Order acted great in this. Uno and Grayson sending in the 2 others not getting involved personally was nice. // Santana Interview was good. Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin sounds good, too. Video was put together very well! I hope if the match happens Sammy will get his first bigger win. I wasn't happy about him losing tonight as a mere setup for Dustin challenging Hager. Dustin losing via Hager helping Sammy would have been way better imho // Next we got the women's division starting off with a promo by Britt Baker. In short: the message was a very good one, but I didn't exactly buy it from Baker. Up next was the women's title match, more on that in the matchguide (6/10). Celebration afterwards was rather pointless... // Jericho Interview was good. I really like the character Jericho very much although I don't like Jericho the wrestler. Jerichos Announcement was both good and bad. It was good obviously because of the message Jeff Cobb in AEW is great! But it could have been executed better. The announcement felt a bit off. Especially if you have the guy available maybe just don't announce him. Would have massivly increased the impact of Jericho calling someone to the ring and Jeff Cobb coming to the ring. // MJF vs. Jungle Boy was okay. Nice showcase for the future of AEW. MJF gets a win here, but the way he won protects Jungle Boy aswell. I did not like the save made by Stunt and Saurus as that is a bit overdone. It happens almost every time. // Cool PAC-Video and Entrance of Le Champion! // Moxley vs. Santana was a match. Nothing more, nothing less. I didn't like the overacting and Moxleys selling of the injury, which was a lot better in NJPW against Suzuki. Jeff Cobb attacking was cool but could have been a lot more impactful."

[10.0] "This was the best Dynamite episode they have done so far. The storylines going into Revolution are firing on all cylinders and everything about this show was good. Two hot title matches, some great announcements, Jeff Cobb, MJF being the ultimate dick again, Britt Baker and Hangman Page getting hotter every week. Man, AEW is really doing amazing work the last few weeks and this is the pinnacle so far. Long-term booking really pays off and I love it."

[10.0] "Stupendous episode of Dynamite, the women's match absolutely killed it and I really dug MJF/Jungle Boy as a character driven showcase for two bright rising stars. Santana had an AWESOME promo, Dustin calling out Hager, really good tag title match, and a great main event with that lovely unique finish of Moxley fighting blind to get the win, not to mention freakin' JEFF COBB is here! One of the best they've done to date."

[10.0] "A fantastic episode of a wrestling TV show, with two great matches in Riho-Rose and the tag, and the other three matches ranging from good to great. Add in wonderful angles involving Darby Allin, Dustin Rhodes, Pac, the go home angle, and the debut of *NAME REDACTED FOR SPOILERS*, and this was a great show all around."
