[8.0] "Despite an obvious issue of the fans hating the finish of the show with the advertised WWE Title match not happening, I enjoyed the show a lot because of the story driven nature of John Cena and Chris Benoit having to go through an obstacle before entering the battle royal. Benoit gets a really fun sprint out of the then-green Matt Morgan and John Cena has a good hoss with A-Train. Shannon Moore is great at losing squash matches as the poor guy is thrown about all over the place against Nathan Jones. Moore is one of the most sympathetic guys on the roster right now. Eddie vs Benjamin is a sprint with Eddie using Chavo's crutch to win! Admittedly Chavo had a point when he was angry with Eddie's actions this time around. The battle royal the whole show builds towards ends in a really good cliffhanger setting up next week's show. The only real issues with the show is the Jamie Noble/Nidia storyline getting a bit silly and the crowd reacting really badly to Ernest "The Cat" Miller's debut, at least until the lovely Torrie shows up."

[9.0] "I'm a sucker for an episode with a strong focus, and this definitely had that. Pretty much everything revolved around the battle royal and the various storylines revolving around it. I love a good battle royal too and this was a really good one. Fun matches besides that, nothing amazing but I really dug the episode."
