[8.0] "Molly Vs Lita, Los Guerreros Vs Bashams, Undertaker Vs Vince buried alive, and Goldberg Vs Triple H were all flat out weak, but Team Angle Vs Team Lesnar and Kane Vs Shane ambulance were both really solid, and Team Bischoff Vs Team Austin was just spectacular. Overall WWE Survivor Series (2003) is a good show, just by the strength of it's actually good matches, especially for Team Bischoff Vs Team Austin."

[5.0] "It was spotty in terms of the quality. The opener was a decent Survivor Series Match with some guys feeling out of place, but it was still a pretty enjoyable Elimination Match. Then Molly vs Lita was a typical, not very exciting women's contest, Kane vs Shane had its moments, but once again I couldn't really buy McMahon being competitive with Jacobs, while Bashams vs Guerreros wasn't bad, but it screamed for some better heel team instead of the bald guys. But then one of the better, if not the best, Survivor Series Matches happened. From the start it felt like the stakes were huge and it had a big fight feeling surrounding it, plus the structure of the whole bout was phenomenal with Michaels delivering one of the best performances in recent memory. It was a perfect, emotional send-off for Austin and I feel like it should have been the main event. But the show didn't end here and although Vince vs Taker was fine, burying Taker didn't have the same impact as the fans were a little worn out there. Plus the actual main event was basically the replay of Triple H's and Goldberg's Unforgiven encounter, where they unnecessarily prolonged the whole bout instead of going for a hot shot. Bill won, but the finish was the only exciting thing about it. So not an awful Survivor Series and it was worth watching just for that one Elimination Match."

[5.0] "This is a really, really mixed bag of a show. You run the gamut between fantastic matches all the way to downright terrible ones when you watch this show. It's a jarring show that will give you whiplash in quality. It also sours me a great deal that the two 'main events' are by far the worst the show has to offer. It really feels like the Raw Survivor Series is the true main event. And I wonder if they decided to go that route and built it up more, maybe put some more main event level talent in, if it would have been seen as even more of a special match. It rounds out to an average show when the dust settles, but the roller coaster of quality gets to me when watching it back."

[4.0] "I'm surprised this show has such a high rating because to me it's clearly a one-match show. Shawn Michaels puts on a wrestling psychology masterclass on this PPV but despite that everything else feels like it belongs on the weekly TV and not one of WWEs big four PPVs of the year. I don't know how this PPV ends up being 3 hours because it feels like almost every match is rushed or cut for time. Look at the talent in that opening match it's shocking they got 13 minutes. Doesn't help matters that the show is concluded with a Vince McMahon snuff film that drags on way too long and an uninspired main event."

[5.0] "I reviewed all of the matches except the opener. Feel free to read them all if you feel so inclined! The opener was not viewed as I do not watch, rank, review or acknowledge Chris Benoit matches, this will never impact the overall. Molly Holly vs Lita scored a 7, no problems here! The Kane vs Shane McMahon Ambulance match scored a 4 and that feels a bit generous the day after but it wasn't totally terrible so I'll stick with it. The Basham Brothers vs Los Guerreros was problematic in that I just can not care about The Bashams (4.5). Austin's team vs Bischoff's team was rather great and was only hampered by personal feelings (9.25). The Buried Alive match was awful and I scored it a zero. Goldberg vs Triple H wasn't horrible but also, eh. It was given a 4. 4.79 is the average. There is some decent stuff here and the tag match isn't woeful (just feels hollow). The Austin vs Bischoff team elimination match is quite great and that alone is worth your time. The bad is quite hard to find any appreciation in. Proceed with extreme caution."

[6.0] "Mixed bag but I think it lands on the satisfactory half of the ratings scale. Team Angle Vs Team Lesnar is a pretty good fast paced opener that managed to hide that half the guys involved weren't really that good, thanks to the work of the other half (7/10) Molly vs Lita is incredibly average nothing goes wrong but it never gets going either, at least they gave them more than 5 minutes (5/10) Kane vs SHane is a brawl, it felt like a fight in aslasher movie with some Shane crazyness on top (7/10) Tag title match was uninteresting thanks to the Bashams but watchable thanks to Los Guerreros, Shaniqua got more of a pop and looked more imposing than the tag champs (5/10) Team Bischoff vs Team Austin should've been the main event great back and forth wrestling with both teams trading eliminations in the first half, Loved RVD specially during that part. All building up to the incredible closing stretch with Shawn Michaels trying to bring the win back in an awesome underdog performance before the odds are too much great post match as well (9/10) Vince/Taker was an entertaining brawl as you would expecta notch below Kane/Shane but gets an extra point for the explosion kocking out Taker (7/10) The Main Event is a dissapointment, starts off well with Goldberg's offense before the bell but it becomes really dull once it officially starts, didn't drag on for long enough to be awful but a bad choice to close the show (4/10)"

Go watch that raw Survivor series tag match however Its really good"

[9.0] "Great Survivor Series PPV despite the wrong match main eventing the show. Team Austin vs Team Bischoff really put this show into the higher tier for me. It's a perfect match with an all time great performance from Shawn Michaels, it's full of great drama and suspense and the emotional pay off with Austin retiring is an unforgettable moment. The Team Lesnar vs Team Angle match is also very good notable for Benoit forcing Lesnar to submit and he and Cena being the survivors of the match emerging them as main event stars. The Ambulance Match between Shane and Kane was absolutely crazy to watch as was Mr McMahon bleeding all over the place in the Buried Alive match with the Undertaker. This was Undertaker's final match as the American Bad Ass. Los Guerreros losing to the Bashams was short but served it's purpose setting up the team splitting and Molly vs Lita was a serviceable match with a flat ending. Goldberg vs Triple H was just okay in my opinion where Goldberg was booked strong with Evolution's interference backfiring."

Nothing is bad except the tag team matches, but it's all so painfully average. The MOTN was easily the Austin vs Bischoff even if the match wasn't the most exciting for the 1st half or so, but Shawn Michaels performance makes that match great alone."

[6.0] "This show didn't really live up to my expectations The Survivor Series matches were fun, and I'm glad the teams aren't just Team Raw and Team Smackdown. Team Austin vs Team Bischoff was the Match of the Night for me and It wasn't even close. Everything after that match is completely skippable by anyone besides the biggest undertaker and HHH fans Speaking of which it was a baffling decision to have Undertaker lose to Vince. WCW 2000 levels of bad. Molly Holly vs Lita was fine, as was the basham bros vs Los Guerreros. Not a bad PPV If you skip the McMahons wrestling and the main event (I wish I had done that.)"

[6.0] "The only matches worth watching were the survivor series matches. Team Angle vs Team Lesnar (****1/4) is very underrated, a great showing from most of the guys involved, especially those on Team Angle. A very strong opener. Then there was Team Austin vs Team Bischoff (****3/4), probably the best Survivor Series match there has ever been imo. Everything else was fairly missable, but those 2 matches made it a worthwhile show"

[10.0] "Awesome event, honestly one of my favorites. The Austin/Bischoff eliminator is the best match in Survivor Series history, and I actually quite like the Smackdown one as well. Molly/Lita is good for it? s length, and Kane/Shane is over the top but very enjoyable for me. The tag title match is fine, shame the Bashams won but it was in service of Eddie? s eventual climb to the top. Taker/Vince is a one sided beating but a pretty excellent one, Vince bled a bucket and they set up the eventual Taker return very well. Goldberg bulldozing all of Evolution isn? t exactly a technical clinic but it? s very satisfying and maybe the strongest HHH has ever put over anyone. Of course some of the bloom was off the rose with Goldberg thanks to being undercut earlier in the year, but still he gets to look incredibly dominant and I? m ok with that. Classic event."

[5.0] "This show is not an 8/10, like, at all. True, no match is absolutely god awful, but there's an awful lot of filler and a few boring matches, both McMahon matches come to mind. Only two matches really save this PPV, take a lucky guess what the MOTN is (Team Austin vs Bischoff is an absolute must watch, seriously). Shane vs Kane is one of the most boring gimmick matches I've ever seen save for one cool coast to coast spot from the top of the van, just 13 minutes of them throwing each other into walls, tables and the ambulance. Molly Holly vs Lita is fine but filler, Bashams vs Guerreros is solid with an extremely weird ending, Vince vs Taker is too long and dull, and Goldberg/HHH is probably third best of the night but again, it's okay. Solid but nothing special. The opening match is obviously not the best SS match of all time and not even the best of the night but it's a very solid match, give it a watch, you'll be surprised. Benoit and Cena come out shining in this match, shame Lesnar got eliminated before Show though, he's the freakin WWE champ for god sake."

[3.0] "I am really surprised with the high rating of this show. The team bischoff vs team austin was really great ****. First one third felt pretty rushed but then the match picked up and delivered. Great sequences and spots. Post match was great, too. The rest of the show was not much. Opening match with team angle vs team lesnar was decent but felt rushed and too short **3/4. Women match was so so but the ending was really flat and the crowd wasn't into it **. Ambulance match was another okay match when looking at who were in the match. ** for elbow drop and the coast to coast. Tag title match was another one that was just acceptable and too short. The last 2 matches were awful. Vince/taker was slow, plodding. While i appreciated that vince took the shovel shot to the head, the ending was so dumb with the never ending kane/taker feud *. ME was your usual HHH match during the reign of terror *. HHH's leg work was boring to watch. Goldberg's comeback was okay. The overbooking at the end didn't help much. Unfortunately the best part of this was ric flair, who was really entertaining here. Overall, pretty bad show with only 1 great match, several decent, okay matches and 2 awful matches."
