[9.0] "I thought this was an excellent episode of Raw where things are moving along nicely for Survivor Series and this is probably the best strech of good Raw shows in a long, long time. At this point they are not even hiding that the big Survivor Series tag is more important than Goldberg vs Triple H and thats honestly completely fine. What's really standing out though is the way it explores the Austin character and the show goes out of it's way to point out how out of character it is for him to have to put his trust in five other men in order to keep his job and that is written very well in my opinion. When he sees RVD and Booker T lose to Jericho and Christian with underhanded tactics there's a great moment where you see him paranoid. The segment where he approaches his old arch nemesis Shawn Michaels because he needs him on his team is wonderfully awkward. The contract signing is one of my favourite segments where Randy Orton is Bischoff's last team member and Austin's expression is fantastic where he looks scared because of not having any control over what happens in the match, which in itself puts Orton over as a huge threat! Bischoff's promo is fantastic where it feels like he has the upper hand because of the mind games. He gets punked out by Batista leading to the fun chaos at the end where it honestly looked like Austin had no chance in an exchange with him. He's no longer the ass kicker he was just a few years before. This leads to Goldberg's unexpected return where he ends up making the save in a really fun ending. Elsewhere on the show, Mark Henry vs Shawn Michaels is a decent well built main event, Jindrak and Cade took advantage of the Dudleys because of Stiener's distraction which seemed to earn the Dudleys respect. Maven gets squashed by Batista and Jericho seems very distracted because of his crush on Trish! I haven't been full of praise when it comes to Raw in 2003, but this was an outstanding show where everything felt like it had a purpose."

The opening match was good, and the main event was also good plus probably Mark Henry's best match in his career up to that point. The brawl after the main event is fucking great and makes you want to see a match between Goldberg and Batista"

[3.0] "Schlechte Ausgabe von RAW. Der Opener war in Ordnung. Ganz nettes Match.

[8.0] "Good episode overall, the opening tag was my favorite match of the night, lots of good stuff going on in that one. The Austin/Bischoff build was handled really well and I really liked how it was tied in with Batista and Goldberg in a way that advanced both of their own character arcs. Lots of good build to Survivor Series, for sure."
