[7.0] "This episode continues the streak of good Darks. The opening match between Trent and Pentagon, Jr. had the potential to be the match of the night, but had a few too many false finishes. Shanna vs. Big Swole was a solid match between two up and coming women. Awesome Kong had a solid squash of Leva Bates. Finally, Kenny Omega defended his AAA Mega Championship in a match of the night outing against Jack Evans."

[7.0] "Seems like this was a good time period for Dark, as this one kept the momentum from the previous episode and was just as good. I actually relatively liked all these matches; even the Awesome Kong squash was fun for what it was. Kenny Omega vs Jack Evans was the match of the night, but not blow away great. Shanna vs Big Swole was probably my least favourite match but still was serviceable. Shawn Spears was great, and at times hilarious on commentary here."

[8.0] "Clearly one of the best episodes of AEW Dark. If we put aside the Awesome Kong vs Leva Bates match, the other matches were very good, especially (obviously) the Main Event between Kenny Omega and Jack Evans"

[5.0] "Ok show. I don't really like how they have babyfaced almost their entire Women's division. I would like to boo someone, and here we had a woman who wasn't supposed to make it facing a woman that defied death. How am I supposed to dislike any of them? Penta vs Trent was kinda disapointing, and the wrong man won."

[8.0] "This was the best AEW Dark episode so far, every match except for the Kong-squash was good to great. The highlight, except for the main event, was Shawn Spears on commentary, who really grew on me over the course of the hour and really got a chance to flesh out his character. If AEW does not want to give promo time to its roster, having capable guys work as a guest commentator on Dark might help with getting their characters over."

[7.0] "Good Dark overall, pretty good women's match followed by an effective squash, and Evans/Omega had a lot of good stuff, though I thought it went a bit heavy on the kick outs. My only complaint is that having Trent pin Pentagon is one on one is like having the Brooklyn Brawler pin Randy Savage, and I say that as someone who likes both Trent and Steve Lombardi."

[8.0] "Two superb matches. Trent and Pentagon worked brilliantly together, lots of exciting moves. Big Swole and Shanna put on the worst match I can remember. It was so bad that it actually became funny. They even messed up a simple finish. These two are nowhere near acceptable standard. People need to stop moaning that the AEW women aren't getting pushed and recognise there is a very obvious reason why, pretty much all of them are terrible. If you want to watch women, watch Impact. Kong was fun and we got to see Brandi. Omega vs Evans was brilliant. If three of these matches had been on Dynamite last week the show would have been far superior."

[8.0] "Good episode. Trent vs Pentagon was as expected, Kong vs Bates was also okay as it was a squash, Shanna and Swole worked pretty well together a few rough spots aside and Evans vs Omega was good. Plus point for Spears being much, much better than expected on commentary."

[8.0] "A very fun show with a good main event. It is refreshing to see Evans in a singles match, especially. a main event against Kenny Omega."

[7.0] "Good show start to finish. I just don't understand why all of Kenny Omega's best matches in AEW have to be on AEW Dark. I know he can't go hard every week, but it's strange he seems to always phone it in on Dynamite. Also having no tag matches was a breath of fresh air. I hated that Shawn Spears called Pentagon jr. a tag specialist."

[9.0] "The best episode of AEW Dark so far. Every match was enjoyable. Trent and Penta was not a matchup I had ever thought about before, but now I want to see it again. Shanna and Swole had one of the best women's matches to date in AEW, and I loved that they both got promos (though I'd love to see Swole get her own Undesirable to Undeniable segment in the near future). Awesome Kong's match was a squash, but it was what it needed to be, and Peter Avalon backing away from the ring was a great touch. Kenny Omega vs. Jack Evans was definitely in the top 5 of Kenny's best matches in AEW so far. And to top it all off, Shawn Spears was surprisingly entertaining on commentary."
