[4.0] "This was kind of a shitty PPV. Mysterio/Tajiri was probably my favorite match, but Angle/Cena was probably the best one. A tough watch for No Mercy 2003 as no matches were outstanding and only a few of them good."

[4.0] "I can't go any higher than 4 for this one. It does have some solid moments like the opener/Benoit and A-Train/Cena and Angle but the rest is such bottom of the barrel unwatchable stuff that slogs this show along."

[6.0] "I did end up somewhat enjoying No Mercy because most of the matches are really good, but the double main event this show was built around was bizarre. The main event Biker Chain Match isn't bad, but it is a disappointing follow up to Undertaker and Brock Lesnar's violent Hell in a Cell match a year before. The Vince vs Stephanie match was pretty ugly viewing as well where after weeks and weeks of dreadful TV segments it was just really unpleasant to sit through and just Vince being the worst human being ever. Thankfully where No Mercy is an good show is the match quality everwhere else. Tajiri v Mysterio, Benoit v A-Train and Eddie vs Show are all very entertaining matches in my opinion and John Cena vs Kurt Angle is a classic that in my opinion made Cena look destined to be the next biggest star of the company."

[6.0] "Very up and down show but Tajiri/Rey and Angle/Cena were fantastic, plus I liked Benoit/A-Train and Eddie/Big Show so it was good enough. The rest was pretty bad though."

[6.0] "Another decent SmackDown show, although this time they took some of the bad stuff from RAW. Mainly the authority figures having so much involvement was my main issue, so Vince vs Stephanie didn't really do it for me, plus it was really tough to watch. Also APA vs Bashams wasn't anything special and making Gowen having competitive matches against full time wrestlers and winning those is insulting. But still, the workrate on everything else was fantastic. The opener was a very fun cruiserweight bout, Benoit let A-Train work like a big guy which paid off with a quality contest, Angle vs Cena was the best match of the night and they kinda did what Taker tried with John, but Kurt made it much better, while Eddie once again was the main star of his match, this time against Big Show who also looked decent here. And then the main event was a hard hitting fight with two guys that had a history with each other, so you could really get invested in this, plus Brock and Taker being in their physical peaks was nice to see. So all in all a nice show - not on the level of Vengeance from a few months ago, but still much better than anything RAW has been putting out."

[5.0] "No Mercy 2003 is a 5 point card right on the money. There is absolutely nothing outstanding whatsoever about this show, but baring the Vince vs. Stephanie travesty, nothing that was far below average, either. This was a decent card that did its job in getting from one month to the next, but there is absolutely nothing about this show, either as a total package or individual bouts, that makes me want to come back to it. A solid show, but there's nothing special to see here."

[6.0] "I reviewed most of the matches, so feel free to read those if you care to! Tajiri vs Mysterio was a solid opener, not my fav between the two but also no real complaints besides the finish being "eh" (8.25). I do not watch, rank or review Chris Benoit matches, this will not impact the overall. The same applies to Zach Gowen matches - although I love that Matt Hardy called him "Novelty Act" Zach Gowen. I love Matt Hardy. All of the wrap around segments with Vince McMahon make me die on the inside just a little bit more. APA vs Bashams was "adequate" in the website's terms (4), the post match promo is deeply regrettable. Vince vs Stephanie McMahon is not my type of thing but it is not useless (1). John Cena vs Kurt Angle was completely excellent, no flaws (10). Big Show vs Eddie Guerrero worked well enough (7). Biker chain match main event scored a 3. The average is a 5.54 rounded up. What I liked I certainly enjoyed but the bad was ROUGH."

[6.0] "Not a blow-away PPV by any means or anything, but overall a pretty solid show. Tajiri vs Rey was the MOTN, with Cena vs Angle coming in as a close second. Vince vs Stephaine was very weird to watch as a match, but I thought they did what they needed to do in order for it to work, and the worst match of the night by far was the APA vs the Bashams, no one was any good in that besides JBL. Benoit/A-Train was good, Eddie vs Big Show did what it needed to do, and Taker/Lesnar was solid although disappointing because they've done way better in other matches together."

[7.0] "A pretty damn good show. Tajiri vs Mysterio (***3/4) was a strong opener that made both guys look great, A-Train vs Benoit (***) was surprisingly really good and easily Albert's best performance in the WWE. Angle vs Cena (****1/4) was the highlight of the show, just a great match all around that told an awesome story. It was easily Cena's best work from his thug days. After that, Eddie vs Big Show (**3/4) wasn't anything really special but ended up being pretty good."

[6.0] "This was a decent show. The opening two matches were very good. The last three matches ranged from above average to good, the middle was meh. BEST TO WORST: Benoit vs A-Train [****], Tajiri vs Mysterio [***1/2], Cena vs Angle [***1/4], Guerrero vs Big Show [***], Lesnar vs Taker [**3/4], Vince vs Stephanie [**], Hardy vs Gowen Vince vs Stephanie [**], Bashems vs APA [*1/2]."

[7.0] "1) ***3/4 Probably this was the peak of Tajiri's WWE run 2) ***1/4 Pretty decent midcard match 3) *** Underdog matches always work 4) *** SD stuff 5) I'm ok with intergenders with the right storyline, but the beat down of a daughter is just bad taste 6) ***3/4+ The greatest match in John's career to this point. 7) ***1/4 Yes it was entertaining, but it made Eddie look a bit like an idiot 8) ***1/2+ Not amazing, but not bad either. I wished they actually used the chain. Overall a good show, with nothing bad or truly amazing."

[9.0] "I actually really liked this show, it's not perfect but I remember I was very excited for it at the time it aired and it holds up pretty well. The first two matches are my favorites of the night, both have some fantastic elements. Gowen finally beating Matt Hardy was well done. The show hits a bit of a lull after that, the tag match is decent-ish but forgettable, and the Vince/Stephanie match... well, they played the story out to the end, for better or for worse. Angle/Cena is a good encounter and I really enjoyed the storytelling of Big Show/Eddie, very logical but also engaging. Lesnar/Taker is somewhat overbooked but still, a lot of the action is really good. Liked the show quite a bit, good stuff."
