[7.0] "Impact cooking up something good! Mahabali Shera & Rohit Raju -vs- Dez & Wentz -vs- Adam Thornstowe & Luster The Legend -vs- Daga & TJP [* 3/4], Joey Ryan -vs- Johnny Swinger [*], Ken Shamrock -vs- Madman Fulton [* 1/2] Shamrock looked broken down, so this one didn't turn-out as dramatic as attempted. Ace Austin (c) -vs- Trey - (Impact X-Division Title) [**] Okay, but bland. Taya Valkyrie (c) -vs- Jordynne Grace -vs- ODB - (Impact Knockouts Title) [** 1/4] Ugly, but vibrant enough for me to get something out of the clash. Rob Van Dam -vs- Daga [* 1/2] Softcore porn. Eddie Edwards -vs- Michael Elgin [*** 1/4] Apart from Edward's dated street gear taking some of the effect away, they did have one hell of a battle! Hard knocks to exhaustion. Moose -vs- Rhino - (No-DQ) [** 1/2] Animals having what became one of the better fights Rhino has had in a while. Ethan Page & Josh Alexander (c) -vs- Willie Mack - (Impact Tag Title) [** 1/4] Made the best of a handicap situation with Swan out with a knee injury suffered two days earlier. Sami Callihan (c) -vs- Tessa Blanchard - (Impact Title) [*** 3/4] This had soul! Tessa is legit one of the premier wrestlers out there, and seeing her getting to showcase what she can do to such a degree, in the male division, and looking as tough as she did, impressed me. Callihan didn't hold back and displayed his small-dick energy to perfection and didn't hold back. A total asskicker!"

[8.0] "Impact's first PPV of the decade has a rocky start and poor middle but gradually improves as we get farther into the show, it begins with a pretty dull match, I've never been a fan of submission based wrestlers so Shamrock doesn't appeal to me much and these two looked very limited in their capabilities so *1/4. Next up is a pretty decent x-division championship match between Trey and Ace, it's not going to be remembered as a classic but it was an enjoyable match none the less so ***. The knockouts match is ok but passable **. Katie Forbes spent more time shaking her butt in the next match than RVD did wrestling Daga, sloppy and short *. Eddie and Elgin start slow but get better as the match goes on but they have a better match to watch on Impact #807 so all I can give this match is ***1/4. Next up is a fun NO DQ match between Rhino and Moose ***1/2. The Tag Team Championship match is very good for the 10 minutes we get, Mack really has you believing he can go it alone, ***1/4. Impact saves the best for last and the world championship is MOTN, Tessa and Sami put on a classic it' s *****."

Impact Knockouts Title Triple Threat Match Taya Valkyrie (c) vs Jordynne Grace vs ODB / ***1/4(decepción de la noche) 4. Singles Match Rob Van Dam vs Daga/Rob Van Dam vs Brian Cage / *1/2 (MIERDA) 5. Call Your Shot Trophy Match Eddie Edwards vs Michael Elgin / ****1/4 6. No Disqualification Match Moose vs Rhino / *** 7. Impact World Tag Team Title Two On One Handicap Match The North (c) vs Willie Mack / ***1/4 8.

[5.0] "The main event and the merits of its result are certain to be debated for some time to come. Viewed objectively, both Tessa and Sami played their roles well as always, and the build was solid, but I found that the match devolved into "finisher-fu" a few too many times for my taste, and ultimately thought their match at Slammiversary was far superior. Elsewhere, the show was not without its issues; not all the fault of Impact, though how they were dealt with in booking wasn't always great - Willie Mack looked good in the handicap Tag Title match, but with Swann injured, they really couldn't find a replacement partner for him? With Cage also injured, having him do the "pre-match" beatdown angle with RVD really just kind of made him look like a chump in what apparently is his last appearance with the company, and Daga then somewhat unceremoniously losing didn't do much for him either. The length of Taya's title reign, while giving her an impressive accomplishment, is starting to show its age as her list of opponents is in reruns. There was some good stuff, to be sure; Edwards vs. Elgin and the X-Division Title matches were decent. But, overall, this was rather uneven and paled in quality to even the preceding Bash at the Brewery show, let alone the last several Impact PPV's."

[8.0] "A good show here. Fulton/Shamrock wasn't good, not a good choice for the opener. Ace Austin vs. Trey was a very good match that should open the show. ***1/2 - Impact Knockouts Title Triple Threat Match was an ok match with a bad finish. RVD vs. Cage/Daga, well... While the RVD segments are great his matches are not. Edwards vs. Elgin was an absolutely great, hard-hitting war delivered as expected. These two have a tremendous chemistry. ****1/4 Moose vs. Rhino was surprisingly a good match. *** Impact World Tag Team Title Handicap Match: Everyone involved in this match looked good, they made the most of a bad situation and Mack put in a great babyface performance. ***1/2 - Tessa vs. Sami was absolutely fantastic, I love a main event match for a PPV that has months of story and build to it. How it should be. ****1/2"

[8.0] "Good from start to finish, but without the special something that has highlighted Impact's recent PPVs. Tessa winning was supposed to be that, but thanks to unavoidable spoilers all over the internet the moment was ruined. I enjoyed Shamrock and Fulton, but the match felt out of place on such a stacked card. Austin and Trey were both very good and put on a recommendable match (another of the if this was on NXT cocks would be being rubbed). KOs Title wasn't great but still plenty of flowing action. The Cage vs RVD no contest wasn't well explained and obviously it was a shame that we later found out Cage was unable to wrestle. The substitute match was fine, but not PPV quality. Edwards vs Elgin was another epic match and more than worthy of the match guide, just brilliant to and fro action and a great mix of wrestling moves throughout. Moose vs Rhino was poor, the no-DQ angle wasn't used enough as Moose continues to be protected and/or unwilling to do anything dangerous. Mack put on a very good rear-guard display against a brilliant team, it was fun, but obviously would have been far better with Swann. The main event did everything expected of it. Sami was the perfect evil heel, while Tessa played a defensive game. Selling was spot on and we saw the full repertoires of both wrestlers. The emotional angle played out brilliantly and tears were shed at the end. Overall, another thoroughly enjoyable Impact PPV and so many brilliant performances that will be neglected by the wider wrestling community."

[7.0] "I thought this was a good event for Impact wrestling. The main event was good and the first time a woman had won the men's World Title. Sexy Star won the Lucha Underground Title and Kimber Lee won the Chikara Title but those are not considered World Titles. RVD can still go and had a good match with Daga, but Rhino vs. Moose was slow and not that great. I thought the knockouts tite match was too short and not that great either. Tag Titles match was real good for being a handicap match, but match of the night was definitely Eddie Edwards vs. Michael Elgin. A recommended match. It stole the show. Great hard-hitting match. Overall, a pretty good event, but nothing spectacular. Some the undercard matches (besides Edwards vs. Elgin) could have been better, but overall still an enjoyable event."

[8.0] "This is weakest PPV of the company in 2 years, but overall was a good show. Shamrock vs. Fulton is a questionable decision for the opener, Fulton has improved but he's not ready to have single matches and Shamrock... well, he looks in great shape but that's all. ** - X-Division Championship: Ace Austin vs. Trey was a really good match, but they are capable of more. Ace Austin is a star. ***1/2 - Impact Knockouts Title: Taya vs. Jordynne vs. ODB was a decent match where ODB shouldn't be involved. **3/4 - RVD vs. Cage * - RVD vs. Daga was ok for what it was. ** - Call Your Shot Trophy Match: Edwards vs. Elgin was what this show needed with the right winner, great hard hitting match and Elgin continues to delivers. This is a recommended match ****1/4 - Moose vs. Rhino was solid, *** - Impact World Tag Team Title Handicap Match: The North vs. Willie Mack ended be a really good match, I hope they do a rematch of the originally scheduled. ***1/2 - IMPACT World Championship: Sami vs. Tessa was amazing, the story here was well done and having Tessa win the title was right call. ****1/2"

[5.0] "Injuries and questionable booking plagued this show. Poor opening match. Found myself opting to ditch it and go make coffee instead. Shamrock continues to be hit and miss, but Fulton just sucked the life out of this match. Match was rough. Show should have opened up with Trey vs Austin. This was solid and fun title match. While I knew Trey would lose, he definitely has a title run in the future. Knockouts title match was enjoyable and I think the women did well, though it would have been better if it remained Grace vs Taya, cos we need a new champ and Bravo needs to go. Heel RVD is fun, but this match with Cage was unnecessary since Cage was injured and/or is leaving according to the dirt sheets. Daga gets in and a new match takes place, which did Daga no favors. Elgin vs Edwards was the first truly good or great match of the show. The German suplex off the top rope remains my favorite spot of the match. Elgin was dominant here and Edwards is the picture perfect face that the crowd can get behind. Great match. Rhino vs Moose was a lot better than expected, but still a bit slower than it should have been. Moose winning was the right call. Ahem, RVD. Tag titles match was OK. The handicap stipulation made the result all too predictable. Mack did great though, especially with the super destroyer. Main event started off with a piledriver on Tessa. Would have loved to see it end there because that makes it believable. However, gonna be honest here. Hate the result. Barely see Blanchard as the face of the company, but judgment will be retained until the title run plays out. Match itself was great. Sami continues to be the best brawler in Impact, as well as the best heel today. Tessa had the baby face support needed to pull through and it actually made her title win a good moment. The good matches saved this show, which had an otherwise unspectacular undercard. For the first Impact PPV of 2020, this was underwhelming when compared to their PPVs from 2018-2019."
