[3.0] "A poor episode with little of interest in the ring and little time to develop talent. Furthermore, the clips shown to promote Full Gear were the same as those shown on Dynamite, if I'm not mistaken, making the episode easily skippable. In-ring quality: 1.5/5. Angles and out-of-match segments: 1.5/3. Strengths/weaknesses: None. Total: 3.5/10. Watched on the AEW YouTube channel."

[5.0] "This was a bit of a weak outing. The opener between Hikaru Shida and Big Swole was decent, but not great. Nyla Rose (and Leva Bates) singlehandedly beating Shalandra Royal and Shazza McKenzie was great in theory, but Royal and McKenzie were not good enough to pull it off. Finally, CIMA and SCU vs. Kip Sabian and The Hybrid2 was the easy match of the night."

[6.0] "I thought this was a solid edition of AEW Dark, though nothing you really have to go out of your way to see. Some solid video packages and hype here for Full Gear; especially when it came to spotlighting the Jericho/Cody feud. My favourite match of the night was the trios main event, but the women's opener was close behind it. The women's tag on this show is not great."

[6.0] "This episode of AEW Dark was pretty good, at least better than the one before. It's also the first episode where we invite wrestlers from the indies, and I think it's a good idea."

[6.0] "Nyla Rose really isn't that good. For someone built as a powerhouse she's not overly convincing. A couple of her "power" moves looked weak, the double suplex especially. Really wasn't good for her to follow after Shida/Swole which wasn't fantastic as Swole is still a bit green at times, but had a few decent spots. SCU/Cima vs Hybrid2/Sabian was pretty decent. Feel CIMA is just a lower mid card guy at times which is a shame."

[7.0] "Another satisfactory set of dark matches that accomplished what they intended to accomplish. Big Swole is great; very charismatic and fun to watch, and I hope we see her on Dynamite soon. Nyla Rose did what she does best (beating up several smaller opponents at once while being entertainingly arrogant), and this was the first time I have enjoyed Leva Bates' contributions. The main event was what you'd expect from the people involved. Kip Sabian fits in perfectly with The Hybrid2, and it's always great to see CIMA."

[8.0] "Loved the Nyla Rose tag match, very character driven and very intentional, and entertaining too to watch Nyla just demolish a couple of wrestlers. Awesome way to rebuild Nyla after her title loss. I also popped for Leva Bates settling down with a book after it was clear Nyla wouldn't tag her in. The six man tag was excellent also, CIMA in particular is looking great and really drove the match to a higher level."

[5.0] "Wasn't too impressed by Big Swole in her match against Hikaru Shida. The women's tag match wasn't too entertaining. The six man tag match was great. I'm always happy to see more CIMA. The team of Kip Sabian, Angelico and Jack Evans is excellent as well. I hope they continue to get paired together. I think Kip Sabian deserves a bigger singles push also. It was good AEW put this Dark episode up on the day before the ppv instead of the usual Tuesday. Very smart and shows how they are actually good at marketing/promoting."
