"An overly solid if not remarkable episode of NXT Dunne/Priest was great Taynara/Garrett wasn't bad. Kai/Baszler was a hard hitting affair and the melee afterwards set up WarGames Rhea picking Yim for the team felt like a bit of a shock but I won't be surprised if Kai ends up in the team in some way shape or form. Dijakovic/Swerve was better than I thought it would be. Some amazing moves from both guys. Main event was really good. Overall an enjoyable show."
[6.0] "Wrestling wise, this was pretty solid with some good matches such as Dunne/Priest, Garza/Nese and Dijakovic/Scott. Some storylines were advances well, with the women's War Games match building up nicely. However, this is also the build to Survivor Series and the whole inter-brand battles. Honestly, I don't like that and probably never will. The invasion angle isn't all that interesting to me personally and this show included a lot of that, mostly for the ME build. Solid show but didn't need the stink of Survivor Series around it."
[7.0] "The whole story of different brands "invading" each other is dumb. It's 2019 move on. However if it gives me the OC, stupid name, against the Undisputed Era I'm all for it. The opener match was good. I still am not keen on Killian Dain interrupting everything. Both women's division matches were weak. Angel Garza against Tony Nese was great. More Garza please. I'm starting to enjoy Dijakovic more and his match with Isaiah Scott was good. The main event was a lot of fun and I'm glad Keith Lee and Matt Riddle are getting a bigger push. I honestly think they should both have had a title by now. Overall nice to see NXT back on track after a stutter when switching to live shows."
[7.0] "A lot of good matches. The highlight is obviously to see AJ Styles for the first time on NXT. And on top of that it already starts with the magic that was eagerly waiting for Finn Balor. I usually love marking-out crowds more, but in this episode it felt so disappointing that the crowd almost didn't give a damn when finally some bullets were released. And I wish they didn't just stop the match. Very excited for the next weeks!"
