[7.0] "Aww, Ian's little boy is opening his own shows with long promos explaining all the guys that aren? t on the show while setting up a match for himself against a female student. 1. 4 Way: *** ½ (Fucking superb match featuring 3 guys not known for this style, and Akira who is breaking out on the scene. Crazy spots all around, full of glass, ends with Akira hitting an AMAZING German Suplex through tubes. Perfect start to this tournament) 2. Patricks/Bentley: ** (Once Patricks put his ass away this was perfectly competent. Fishhook to the foot was absurd and grotesque. Good stuff) 3. Knox/Rotten: * (They're clearly going for a Mickie Knuckles vibe with Knox but she is still VERY green and almost gets her nose broken not putting her hands up for a kick from JC. She's very tough though) 4. Zodiak/Valentine: * ½ (Bowling shoe ugly, as I? m sure JR said while he definitely watched this match alone in his home) 5. NDC/Herzog: *** (Utter chaos, and Herzog doesn? t really do this shit, but by the end he has some horrendous cuts thanks to tubes and BUTCHER KNIVES. NDC is unkillable and underrated as fuck) 6. 3 Way: ** (More tubes. Some decent spots but Havok cuts his hand. Bundy is a fill-in and sucks) 7. Aeroboy/Wayne: *** (Definitive heel and face, a wrestling match featuring crazy weapons. Didn? t like the post-match indie jerkfest though) 8. Crane/King: *** (Jeff King is one of the toughest men in wrestling, at one point having toothpicks stuck in his eyebrow. Gritty and ugly) 9. JWM/Tremont: *** (Another solid match in the never-ending series between these two. It's incredible Tremont still goes at this level) Altogether this was a very fun show and every single wrestler busted their ass in front of a small but lively crowd."
