[8.0] "the TLC match is banger and the triple treath is a fantastic match. there are some low but the opening (with a great pre match promo to hype the match) and the main event gave something to watch and excite for"
[6.0] "I didn't think the show was as bad as everyone says it is. Yes it does take a while to start the show with all the hype videos and the long buildup to Lobo vs. Zandig and the overall booking/order of matches. But honestly, the match quality makes up for these shortcomings. Lobo vs. Zandig obviously took a while to get started, having a pre-tape of Lobo and his goons beating the crap out of Zandig. Lobo then gets into the ring in the arena with the cage set up and said that the match will NOT happen. Zandig comes out looking like he just died a violent death and got resurrected and said that the match WILL happen. He does his usual talking about whatever and reveals that Adam Flash had taken the contract of ownership of CZW and is siding with Zandig now (random but okay). Match gets started and we see a nice head and arm suplex from Lobo and a shitty jumper cable spot with the cage. Lobo then hits a DVD off the cage through some tables, brawls around the ringside area, then gets placed on a table by Zandig. Zandig then climbs the cage and does some elbow drop/splash off the cage through the tables. Before the DVD, Zandig had set up a table with chairs and a glass pane on top of each other in the center of the ring. They brawl up the cage and Zandig hits the Motherf'nBomb off the top of the cage through all the stuff and retrieves the contract. He then does a typical Zandig move and gets a microphone and blabs about something (I genuinely don't listen to him speak because it usually doesn't make sense. Ten man elimination tag match was okay. I personally believe that this match should've been the opener and we see Adam Flash turn on Danny Rose and revealing he had been working for Zandig. Eliminations in the match were quick and everyone got some moves to showcase. Z-Barr vs. Feinberg/Kid was mediocre at best. The main storyline (if you can call it that) for this match was an apparent love triangle or something between these three and it was awful. Z-Barr looked good here but I can't justify it any higher then a 3/10. Berk vs. Prohibition was a good submission match. There were some odd parts, but for the most part it was a solid work rate match. Prohibition looked good and Berk finally got a win at Cage of Death. Ian Knoxx came out because him and Chris Stylz have had some issues with Prohibition and hit him with a beer can to cost him the win. M-Dogg vs. Ruckus vs. Sonjay was a super fun and entertaining junior heavyweight match. Everyone looks great here, but Sonjay was the obvious star here. Lots of cool spots. H8 Club vs. B-Boy/Hero was your typical H8 Club match from this time period where Nick and Nate just murder their opponents. While I believe that Hero and B-Boy are better then Nick and Nate, the match worked fine. Backseat Boyz vs. Mondo/Blade was my MOTN. It's Ric Blade's CZW return match since CZW Take One and they absolutely destroyed it out there. I'm a big fan of TLC matches and it satisfies my expectations for one. Great ladder spots, dives and that opening sequence is BEAUTIFUL. it's a must watch. Messiah vs. Pain was a standard match, but not one suitable for a main event. They did fine with the actual wrestling and the dabbles of hardcore in there, but it didn't make me feel like I was watching the main event. It would've fit perfectly being the match before the semi main event. Now I would like to do some rebooking of the show and try my best to make the order of matches make sense. I believe that the ten man tag match should be the opener. The teams should be Danny Rose, Adam Flash, Rockin' Rebel, Greg Matthews, and either Chris Cash or GQ (it doesn't really matter) vs. Ian Knoxx, Chris Stylz, Jon Dahmer, Derek Frazier, and Cory Kastle. Eliminations really don't matter as long as it's Danny Rose and Adam Flash vs. one of the dudes on the other team at the end of the match. Rose and Flash are just mauling the dude who's last on the other team until out of nowhere, Flash blindsides Rose and costs his team the victory, explaining that he has been secretly helping Zandig without Lobo knowing. Lobo comes out and and makes fun of Flash and says something along the lines of 'It doesn't matter if you help him or not because the match tonight is not happening'. Flash reveals that he had taken the contract for the match and gave it to Zandig. Lobo's Army then comes back out and chases after Flash who then leaves the building and they follow, removing all of them from potentially interfering in the main event. The shows goes on as normal with how the matches are but after the H8 Club match, the world title match would happen. Then the TLC match, therefore making Lobo vs. Zandig the main event. Lobo comes out for the match and he looks terrified. He enters the cage and cuts a quick promo saying he didn't agree to the match and try to get out of the match. Zandig makes his entrance with Mack Smack. Zandig responds to Lobo and says it's too late to get out of the match and it's about time he gets what he deserves. Match goes on as it did on the real version of the show and bam, ended the show on a high note. Crowd is hyped and go home extremely happy."
[4.0] "Zandig/Lobo took a godawful time before starting and honestly was awful wrestling, but the sheer audacity of the highspots satiated the bloodthirsty crowd and probably make this the second or third best Cage Of Death match yet. The Elimination Match looked nice on paper, but ended up being a mishmash of random eliminations without logic and had little entertainment value. The Handicap Match was clumsy and boringly insulting. Berk/Prohibition was a breath of fresh air, a rock solid wrestling match that told a story, and even the interference sets up matches for the future. The triple threat junior contenders match was fast, fluid and fun, as it should be. The CZW Tag Team Championship match felt standard and unimaginative, with The H8 Club being disgustingly selfish wrestlers. The TLC Match was a cool spotfest that continuously wowed the crowd, with only the finish feeling a little artificial. Justice/Messiah was fine wrestling, but felt odd at this show, had unnecessary interference and had an underwhelming finish. Good matches are peppered here and there, making this a decent show overall, but the enjoyment is seriously hurt by the unbearable overbooking and bad acting surrounding the first match and the huge amount of obvious filler for the biggest show of the year, in theory. The good parts are enjoyable, but it is a disappointing event with a disappointing main event, making this an average, even subpar CZW show."
[3.0] "The first 20 minutes of the show was pretty much just match trailers and Zandig being tortured. Lobo vs Zandig had a good storyline going into it, and the match had quite a few cool spots. **. the 10 man tag dragged on for a bit but was ok. **1/4. The handicap match wasn’t that great, but there was few cool moves. *1/2. Josh Prohibition vs. Nick Berk - I thought was pretty boring. *1/4. M-Dogg 20 vs. Ruckus vs. Sonjay Dutt was an entertaining 3 way with some cool spots. The H8 Club vs. B-Boy & Chris Hero was alright. **1/2. Nick Mondo & Ric Blade vs. The Backseat Boyz was a good spot fest match with some good near falls. ***. Justice Pain vs. The Messiah was ok, but was mostly quite boring. **."
[4.0] "This pay per view was my first real taste of CZW back in 2003 when I first saw 3 matches of it (H8 Club vs Hero & B-Boy, Blade/Mondo vs Backseat Boyz & Lobo vs Zandig). Looking back, I remember really enjoying Blade/Mondo/Backseat Boyz, and it feels bittersweet knowing that none of these guys had particularly thriving careers, never mind how few matches Mondo & Blade have actually had. Zandig & Lobo was primarily crap, but it had some very impressive spots in it (Zandig's gorilla slam on Lobo through the pane glass windows, chairs & tables looked like a car accident, a really brutal spot). & the H8 Club match is quite funny now, considering what that Chris Hero guy went on to become 10 years later. I later saw the rest of the PPV, which wasn't up to much, the Junior Heavyweight title match had good spots, and the main event was very average."
