| 1 | 29.07.2025 | Russ4AM | 5.0 | One of the poorer episodes of Smackdown during this time. It felt like there was so little wrestling for the first hour and half of the show. A lot of promos, video packages, etc. Which usually isn't a bad thing but it felt like it took away from the any in-ring time which Smackdown was better known for in comparison to RAW. Not sure why Mysterio and Tajiri lost to A-Train and Big Show when they defeated the tag team champions last week, very strange. The Piper/O'Haire v Rikishi/Snuka thing dragged. You can tell the crowd don't really care about something that happened 20 years ago. Nathan Jones looks to be written off by the FBI (I think? ). I know he's green but he's holding his own and it's not like he's botching every move he's doing. Feel like they should have stuck with him for another while, maybe? The main event is the best part of the show. The real start of the Cena push. |

| 5 | 23.07.2023 | Ruthless Attitude | 6.0 | Pretty much a one match show, but the superb main event with John Cena defeating Chris Benoit to become the number 1 contender is a true hidden gem. It definitely felt like things were back on track for Cena because of the surprise ending where he went over clean! The rest of the show was okay, but messy in parts because a lot of the feuds here just don't feel all that interesting and it also felt like things was changed at the last minute. For example Rey Mysterio and Tajiri was positioned as the number 1 contenders last week, but this week they randomly lose to The Big Show and A-Train. Team Angle instead resumed their long running feud with Los Guerreros with an appealing match made at Backlash. Elsewhere WWE unsurprisingly have no faith in Nathan Jones so he gets "whacked" by the FBI. The Piper's Pit segment is still a bit messy, but at least put some spotlight on Sean O'Haire as well as giving us a fun Jimmy Snuka return. The ongoing Torrie and Sable storyline just feels needlessly confusing. |

Cena vs Benoit was a solid main event, and Cena winning made sense given Cena was going after Lesnar for months. |

| 9 | 07.11.2021 | BLooD | 4.0 | Schlechte Ausgabe von SmackDown. Der Opener war schlecht. Da war der Größenunterschied zu enorm. Warum der 619 an Big Show für ihn als Peinlichkeit eingestuft wird weiß ich nicht. Mysterio und Big Show haben deswegen ein Match bei Backlash. Symphatisches Interview mit Lesnar der zurecht bejubelt wird. Seine beiden möglichen Gegner vor dem Turnierfinale Benoit und Cena haben noch was zu sagen. Cena war echt stark. Noble vs Eddie war schlecht. Ganz interessantes Pipers Pit. Piper bringt die gewohnte Unterhaltung doch auch O'Haire war echt gut. Überraschend das Jimmy Snuka anwesend war der es beschissen fand was mit Rikishi letzte Woche passierte. Rikishi ist dann auch da doch Piper und O'Haire stehen am Ende. Die Divas waren sehr schlecht. Oh Mann das war echt mies. Sable als Referee ist zum anschauen doch im Ring war das grausam besonders Nidia verhaut fast jeden Move. Matt Hardy vs Kendrick war schlecht. Nunzio vs Jones war grauenhaft. Nunzio hätte null Chance gehabt doch die FBI griffen schnell ein und verletzen Jones Knie stark der wohl schon so früh verabschiedet wird weil er einfach noch nicht in einen professionellen Ring gehört. Der Main-Event war in Ordnung. Wie schon vor dem relativ unnötigen Turnier erwartet ist Cena derjenige der Lesnar bei Backlash herausfordern wird. Wrestlerisch wäre Benoit die bessere Wahl gewesen doch mit Cena kann man echt Leben. |

Highlight der Show ist für mich aber tatsächlich Pipers Pit mit Snuka. Das ist sehr spaßig, während auch die Torrie/Sable Geschichte gelungen weitergeht. Nathan Jones sieht man nach der Attacke vom FBI jetzt hoffentlich erstmal nicht mehr, während Show vs. Rey auch eher fragwürdig eingeleitet wird. Dennoch ist das insgesamt eine durchaus ordentliche SmackDown! Ausgabe. |
