"Coughlin/Tsuji: ***1/3. Maybe went a little too long. They ran out of fire with a few minutes left. Coughlin facially resembles Dynamite Kid, but otherwise he is a few inches taller. He's got impressive shoulders and biceps. He's already pretty good. Tsuji's getting pretty brown these days. Great chops in this. Connors/Umino: ***1/8. Good match. Connors sure has alot of intensity doesn't he? He really is starting to remind me of Chris Benoit. Umino must be hurting, as they never let Young Lions get taped. Match had alot of heat and intensity. Good stuff."

[6.0] "Good typical road to Korakuen show. Young Lion Cup matches were great for what they are, undercard tags are normal, and the main event was good even though it probably could have been even better with those 4 talent"

[7.0] "Good road show in Korakuen Hall. Filled with tag matches but all enjoyable in different ways. If you're a fan of Wrestling. New japan never disappoints. Even with the smaller shows. Main event was best match on the card of course. But overall decent show as always. I'll give main event 3. 75 stars..."
