| 2 | 25.08.2019 | Resident | 9.0 | Very fun event. It was really cool to see Alex Shelley show up as a surprise. The first few matches were ok. I thought Taggert was crappy, but everyone else was pretty good. However, the last four matches really stood out. All great matches, although Riddle got most of the offense in his match against Briggs. A little more one sided than I thought it would be. Match of the night was definitely Kushida vs. JD Drake. One of the best best matches I've seen in a while. Kushida and Drake are both such great performers, really told a great story in this match. Definitely a Recommended match if you get to see it, Kushida vs. Drake was amazing. Worth going to the show or to watch it online just to see Kushida vs. Drake and the surprise of Alex Shelley showing up to thank Kushida after his match. |
