[4.0] "I agree with the previous commenter that this episode wasn't horse shit terrible like the past few Raws, so by that low bar, this was an ok show. It's definitely better this week as Vince fires Bischoff and JR for not delivering Austin. Chief Morely also gets fired as he loses the match that could save his job. The small issue I have with it is that last week they had a countdown clock and I am pretty sure Bischoff had multiple weeks left, not just one. But when nothing makes sense, why start making sense now? Also, the video package they did for the Booker T/Goldust story was well done and is way more interesting than the story itself. But having Booker T both get into it with D Lo about skin color as well as this other story with Goldust and evolution is just a little weird. Like, just have one character stick to one story line. There's no reason for this. And the steiner/evolution is soooo boring and predictable. Big Poppa Pump is being horribly used right now. If it comes out that he demanded a main event story or title shot in order for him to sign, then they shouldn't have signed him. He's at the same level Buff Bagwell was in his WWF match two years ago. It's embarrassing. Kane and RVD is becoming more likeable as a tag team than they were before, even though I still feel RVD is being horribly wasted here. Jeff Hardy interferes in the Test/Christian match as a Face now, even though he's been turning heel for a couple weeks. And he goes up against Jericho as the main event. I am getting the hint that this confusion is on purpose, as the announcer team from week to week keeps commenting on how "conflicted" Jeff is. I just hope for a payoff but I predict there won't be one. I enjoyed this show so much more than previous Raws that I was about to rate this a 6 but the main event just isn't it. It's a fine match between Jeff Hardy and Jericho but this is more of a mid card match and not worthy of a main event. The crowd is dead. It's difficult to imagine 2-3 years ago the crowd being this dead with 10 minutes left to go in the final match of the show, but here we are. Well you don't really have to go back 2-3 years, just watch most smackdowns from last year. Night and day. So, minus a point for that. 5 points. I guess they all realized that the main event match wasn't a true main event match because they end the show with a promo where Vince reinstates JR and Bischoff is getting a chance to get his job back by joining the KMA club. Well, that's unfortunate because they were foreshadowing Austin coming back big time, and everyone thought he'd be the new GM, or at least hear the glass breaking. So, minus a point for that as well as another point for Vince's ass hanging out. 3 points. However, I love the HLA stuff that shit is hilarious to me so add 1 point for that. Really this is a skippable show but it's probably the best Raw in maybe months so make whatever you will of that. Ending the show with that promo should be a crime. If I bought tickets for this show I'd be pissed. I can't imagine leaving the arena after that."
[5.0] "A better show than last week but the bar is extremely low. At least the show had more of a good feel with the Dudleyz destroying Val Venis and Bischoff getting fired for about 20 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised that Jericho and Hardy got that much time, so that was a positive. Mr McMahon, wow. I don't know what to say. The singing to Bischoff and him insisting on him joining the 'kiss my ass' club. Genuinely ridiculous TV to look back on but I found it entertaining.... I think."
[5.0] "Still a messy show, but at least there's a sense of fun with it with the big storyline being Eric Bischoff and Jim Ross being fired for not signing Stone Cold and then are rehired when they guarantee his return. The Vince McMahon segments do get long in the tooth but there is some good cartoonish character work there. There's also a fun squash where the Dudley Boyz destroy Cheif Morely in a handicap match with Morely's selling making it satisfying. Jazz looked really good in her return match against Molly Holly with some really devastating looking offense. The awful Evolution vs Stiener feud is sensibly downplayed somewhat with Booker T now entering the fray seeking revenge for his friend "Goldie". The storylines still aren't the greatest, and the match quality is still lacking anything Smackdown had to offer and Jim Ross off commentary all show is pretty rough too. Lawler does his best here, but he doesn't share the same chemistry with the Coach. It's a show with a lot of course correction with them finally turning Jeff Hardy face again, although he still looks completely burnt out in the main event with Chris Jericho."
[2.0] "A below average show with only one good match, Christian jobbing to Test in three minutes, and the end result of the show was Bischoff vs. Austin at No Way Out. The world title feud also got zero focus on this show, which is unacceptable."
[5.0] "The show long angle of can Bischoff get Stone Cold back for his job, with the help of JR was really nicely done. Vince singing towards Bischoff was hilarious, unfortunately the only good match here was between Jericho and Hardy this was a decent show"
