129.01.2024XXDoubleHHXX8.0The wXw guys invade CZW. It's simply an attempt to draw interest as CZW is having smaller and smaller crowds but this did help as the building did look full. Above The Rest is back together and they excite the crowd against the Budapest Bastards who in their own right are pretty good. KC Navarro follows that with another loss, he has a interview but clearly he is tired and turning heel after this. Women's match was short but fun. Emil Sitoci returns to CZW and its annoying. He's good with Oliver but DJ clearly didn't want to put either man over as they were both Champs so he goes with a draw. Ruined the momentum as we get a snooze fest between Claxton and Avalanche. The Crown vs The REP had a good match match botched the finish. The title match strangely is not a wXw vs CZW match but it's Silver vs Anthony Greene so I'm not gonna complain. I enjoyed the match, Alex Reynolds came out and attacked Candy Catwright and Joe Gacy returned to proclaim he is going to put down the walking corpse of CZW.
213.02.2020Paul Allain5.0The opener was energetic and breezy, using unknown wrestlers to their best capacities. Navarro/Wylde was good enough, with KC Navarro having a good performance but unfortunately dropping the fall to a no-name that would do nothing with it. Savannah/Hirsch was very good, having the vibe of a true fight like almost no women's match had brought to CZW, and even the abrupt disappointing result wasn't enough to detract from the quality of the encounter. Sitoci/Jordan was a complete disaster, from the constant heel shenanigans, the slow pace, the fake injury that wastes many minutes, the stupid referee switch that went nowhere, the moronic commentator mispronouncing Sitoci's name constantly and the deflating time limit draw, this horrible match was a complete waste of time and should have been cut entirely. Claxton/Avalanche was very lacking in the wrestling department, but told a somehow nice story of Claxton absorbing punishment and finding a way to topple the big man, which has some merit to it and felt like an earned victory. Crown/REP Was a good match where everybody played their part, but a seemingly botched finish took the wind out of their sails and made the actual finish feel very deflating and unjust, Silver/Greene was fair, but lacked a spark to complement their hard work, a somewhat mechanical title defense that was immediately undercut by complicated angles. The suffers a lot from WXW sending an obvious B-Team with the star players being absent, but there was still a lot of efforts put in that made for an average show, hurt by haphazard booking that made this shoddy by co-promotion standards.
315.10.2019Godzillafan166.0Opening tag match was a good start for the show but the match with KC Navarro was shit, women's match was great Leyla Hirsch continues to impress me but then that draw between Oliver and Sitoci just ruined it for me but every match after that was really good
