[8.0] "Well this was a great episode after a major PPV. Things I love seeing after a PPV are long promos, especially from the winner oft he main event, and some kind of promo with the next challenger. I don't care too much about the matches on these shows really, which probably explains why my rating is higher than others here. The 3 minute thing getting back to FUN with the guys kicking the shit out of jimmy snuka. Then Y2J coming out and obviously telling the world that he's a heel, as if we didn't know... 1) Putting snuka in the walls of jericho for no reason except "hi everyone, boo me please! i'm a heel", 2) picking up a mic and singing to the crowd about how shitty new york is, then 3) at the end of his match with jeff hardy, gets DQ'd for not breaking the walls of jericho and then keeping hardy in it until way after the ref called the DQ. So yeah, if you didn't know, you're not supposed to like Jericho. Oh then like immediately after this in the next segment, the "un americans" come out to burn the american flag. Not sure how tasteful this was at the time considering it's almost the year anniversary of 9/11 and they're in new york. Well, Kane comes out to a huge fucking pop to end all that shit. I guess goldbook/bookdust has their third guy now that Undertaker is back in the main event mix. Kane also talks normally now and breakdances. Cool. Then there's the decision to combine the hardcore and IC belts, for what reason, I don't know. What a stupid decision honestly this is so dumb. Getting rid of hardcore matches? In favor of what, more TEST matches? Yeah and let's not question why the fuck they are using hardcore rules to decide the IC belt holder, also like 24 hours after RVD just won it. Whatever. I'm not going to hold this decision against the show's rating here because i'm sure the decision was more of a company strategy move than a "raw" move. I just think it's fucking dumb. Anyway, I think this match was great. A lot of dangerous spots, a few with ladders, from these two ECW vets who know each other pretty well. And dreamer shedding a tear at the end after hugging RVD. Pretty cool. Nobody thought Dreamer was gonna win the IC belt, although both TEST and Albert had the belt recently way longer than they ever should have, which should be 0 days for both combined... so, you never know. The main event for the top contender match was boring as fuck because the undertaker doesn't belong anywhere near the belt, ever again, please. He SUCKS and is BORING. His CHARACTER was awesome before he became a biker. Now he's just another boring biker. Anyway, HHH won the boring match after a bunch of unnecessary ref bumps and unnecessary interference from Lesnar. HHH won so he's the #1 contender and while I fully expected a wrench or two to be thrown into that over the next few weeks, I didn't expect it to happen at the end of the show with steph telling Bischoff that Lesnar wouldn't be defending his title on Raw. Was pretty cool. Love the story telling here. My final request that I prefer to see happen during a post-PPV Raw is that there is a #1 contender for the title, and we sorrtta have that here, at least we had it for like 30 seconds.. Also, I loved seeing the announcer match and howard finkel being such a fucking dork lol. Good episode despite the garbage main event. Also I'm very interested to see how they play Lesnar and whoever he ends up facing next PPV. He is supposed to be a heel but he was CLEARLY the crowd favorite against the Rock. Wonder if this caused any panic behind the scenes during the time."

[4.0] "This show has a really good Hardcore match and Kane returning with a cool superhero mask and the 'Kane-a-roonie', but considering this was at Madison Square Garden and it followed one the greatest PPV's of all time, it was very disappointing and Triple H being plastered all over the show is not a good sign for things to come. As you would expect with the Red brand, the bad stuff is really bad with Lillian Garcia vs Howard Finkel being one of the most embarrassing moments ever. Triple H vs Undertaker was also really poor! It ended with Brock Lesnar staying exclusive to Smackdown with the WWE title. Check out Rob Van Dam vs Tommy Dreamer though, that's a hidden gem."

[4.0] "After what was one of the best PPVs of all time, this Raw was extremely disappointing, especially the last two matches. Ring announcers should NEVER be in the ring having matches against each other, and the main event was very slow and plodding, and what happened after the match with Lesnar becoming exclusive to Smackdown led to HHH being handed the big hold belt next week. The rest of the show was very hit/miss but the last two matches are what stood out the most."

[7.0] "The opening segment that helped to set up the main event between Triple H and Undertaker was fun, even if their match wasn't really good. Jimmy Snuka coming back was random but Jericho and two-minute warning laid him out so at least there was some purpose there. Kane finally returned after weeks of faking his return. The hardcore unification match was a good with a ton of weapon spots. The end to this show was well done with Stephanie leaving Heyman & Lesnar after making him an exclusive to Smackdown"
