[7.0] "Fun night. Best part was hearing Tenzan's music again, really nothing like that theme. The match too with TenKoji, Liger, Tiger and Ibushi against LIJ was the best match on the card from a storytelling standpoint. The match focused on two intertwined stories, all circling the changing atmosphere of what it means to be in Los Ingobernables de Japon. Ibushi and Naito's ongoing issues of taking divergent approaches to one another were told with substance from the commentators. As Charlton remarked, Naito was pointing to his busted lip during his whole entrance while Ibushi combed his hair over the black eye. The general heel tactics of LIJ keep growing and growing. Yes, the group has always fit into the role of antagonist when that was needed but it's always been a bit tongue and cheek if you ask me, at least since Naito's push in 2017. They all have gimmicks the fans easily get behind. Aware of that fact, they pushed for a heated finish where Sanada held Tiger Mask in the Skull End far past the bell. Evil is a very interesting choice as a possibly disillusioned member, I have to say I was expecting Sanada to get that babyface rub going into the G1 so that has been a nice swerve. I still think an LIJ implosion should happen within the next year but only after Naito wins the belt. I think Hiromu and Evil have reason to feel undermined and they could end up pairing off together. Naito could start showing more favoritism to Shingo and Sanada to further plant that seed."

[6.0] "Another normal Korakuen show. Everyone just going through the motions in the tags although the elimination match had some good moments."

[7.0] "Decent card overall. 6 man title match was hilarious at times and a groaner at times. Main event was match of the show. Lance archer was booked like an absolute MONSTER for his part in this match. His sequence with sho and yoh was great His sequence with ishii was incredible. His sequence with okada was a shocker to say the least. Watch the main event at least if you got the time. Also it announces every match in the G1 and the dates. Always fun to hear the crowds reactions to the matches. I'd also like to add that no one buys Yoshi-Hashi as a big star. It's fine to be a midcarder. Midcarders are essential. Don't force it."
