I only recall one 6-Man Tag that was a chaos with heels once again not being bothered by anybody about spending all the time in the ring together, but everything else was very enjoyable. The other Tag Team Matches were fun, they told some stories and the rules were mostly followed there, plus the 8-Man Tag was a fantastically structured match with all eight guys showing some incredible work and La Parka one more time stealing the spotlight. On top of that the Steel Cage Match was a pleasant surprise, as they made it all about climbing the cage, which was really exciting and the main event was just a spectacle. Roberts wasn't really in shape, but they covered for it with a great build and the reactions from the audience were just fantastic. Konnan had a great babyface performance and they made it enjoyable, even though he spent most of the time handcuffed to the ropes. So a very nice end to the second TripleMania - every show was improving in quality. |
