[9.0] "Ladies and gents. THIS is how you book a wrestling show. That MCW kept so many plates spinning, introducing new talent, solidifying recently formed stables, gearing up plot arcs, resolving others and more without the card feeling overstuffed or burdensome is a testament to the abilities of both the performers and the bookers. It is, in this writer's mind, the best wrestling show he's seen in 2019. At its worst, it's superfluous. A pair of singles matches intended to introduce jobbers to the roster squeak by unnoticed without leaving much of an impression. At its best, and it is frequently at this point, it is transcendent. Danny Psycho and Shaun Young's semifinals match is a serious match of the year contender, and the other semifinals blaster is not far behind. Jessica Troy and Indi Hartwell prove that gas remains in the women's division's tank. The capper was the superb tag team main event, which ably and satisfyingly resolved the long running plot arc and beautifully humbled the longstanding heels in classic, pitch-perfect storytelling. MCW's future is bright, and in a show which divided lines along the company's past and its future, that's a great place to be in."
