[9.0] "This is the only Bloodsport I've ever watched and it's not really my thing. The shoot fight is very entertaining but I like my normal wrestling, however they achieved a goal of putting on a great show. Biggest surprise of the night was Nick Gage losing so fast, I stood up for that I was so shocked."
[7.0] "Not at the level of the first Josh Barnett Bloodsport, but still good. The setting didn't feel right for the event, the matches weren't as good as the last edition and the show felt longer as well. Nothing was bad, but only two or three matches got close to great territory. 7/10 show"
[8.0] "It wasn't as intense or entertaining as the first edition but it looked more professional.. These shows really bring some freshness to the Indy scene, we want more."
[6.0] "A step back from April. Aside a decent main event ***1/2 and the MOTN Lawlor vs DBS **** there's nothing unforgettable. Too many dull matches, without 2 of them the event would have been more enjoyable."
[8.0] "Definitely some good matches here, Thatcher/Minowa was the best I thought but Davey Boy/Smith and Barnett/Dickinson also really delivered. I actually loved the story told in Kross/Gage, thought they handled it perfectly."
[7.0] "Makowski/Gulak: ***1/2. Makowski looked great. Gulak was good too. Would love to see more of Makowski. Snow/Sakai: **1/4. Ok. Snow looked like a badass. Sakai was good here. Wentz/Henry: ***1/4. Good match. Nice action. Wentz looked good doing this style. Hammer/Kratos: ***. This was good, but kinda slow. Good style for both guys. AK/Savoy: ***7/8. Best match so far, easily. Savoy is MVP of the show at this point, she's was great here. Kay was really good too. Really hope Savoy is on the next Bloodsport. Carelli/Grimm: ***1/2 . Carelli looked really good here. He sold really well, which was interesting. He was very good in this style, as was Grimm. Minowa/Thatcher: ***1/2. Pretty Good, maybe a bit dry. Minowa was good. Thatcher was pretty good, he fits in very well in this style. DBS/Tom: ***7/8. Almost great. This was really really fun. Both guys were naturals here. Kross/Gage: **. FIne. This went exactly as it should. Gage was easily the weakest person on this show. Also, he was the most over guy on the show. Funny how that works. Dickinson/Barnett: ***1/2. Very good by the end. Maybe a little too methodical. Good stuff though. This didn't have the attractions that the last Bloodsport had, nor did it have the crowd energy. Not to say the crowd energy was bad, it just wasn't the same. This is a good concept for a show that you do like 2-3 times a year. I think anything more than that is maybe a bit too much. There should also be like a trophy or something that the main event fights for, or something that builds one show to another. Just a thought, A very watchable show, and a pretty good show."
[4.0] "Liked the first Bloodsport under Riddle, loved the second from top to bottom and from the presentation. Now this. Zero Bloodsport feel in the presentation. Many participants walking out like pro-wrestlers (which they are, sure) doing face and heel stuff. Opener was a Spotfest withouth the highspots and looked faker on this show than on any other show. Kratos is cool but he sold way to much and it became a Ishii vs. Ishii Strongstyle Match just for the pops without a story; to me it felt long and boring. I am a big Savoy fan, but this match sucked. So this is Bloodsport and the tune is pure wrestling and striking and then both looked pathetic with their "striking" that I wanted to turn off the show. I took a break, came back it was better from there but I was still missing a "look" as well as brutality and intensity. At least Davey Smith was over to a degree and the match despite Lawlor was fun. Nick Gage came out and he was the only star on the show so far when it came to being over and getting a real reaction. The finish was so hated, I lol'ed so hard. After all that I got Mr. Fake Intensity Chris Dickinson in the main event. Should have been over in 2 minutes and I thought the finishing kick for the knock out looked weak."
[7.0] "Good show. I'm more interested in the deathmatch side of GCW but this was a nice showcase of a different kind of talent. My favorite match might honestly have been Killer Kross vs Nick Gage; it was short but being their live was a wild experience and both men played their parts to perfection. Main event was a little long for my taste, but Dickinson was great here and a fine replacement for Moxley, who I was not excited for. Also, props to a hot opener which got the show off on the right foot."
[8.0] "Not quite as strong as the past 2 Bloodsport events. But still very enjoyable. Few matches I'd recommend. Tom Lawlor vs Davey Boy - 3. 5 stars. Josh barnett vs Chris Dickinson 3. 5 stars. And the match of the night JR Kratos vs Erik Hammer. This was fantastic and very real feeling. Perfect facial expressions and style and pace. Solid 4 stars for that. If any match, give that a watch."
