[7.0] "My first ever Rev Pro show. Sadly our seats were very uncomfortable and we had a very English man sitting beside us who would not stop saying "at the end of the day." The show's title was appropriate because this was held on one of the hottest days of the year and the venue was boiling. Still remember meeting Ishii, Shibata and Ospreay before the show and felt so self-conscious because I had been sweating so much. Show itself was great fun and the atmosphere was unreal."

[7.0] "3 hours and 20 minutes on VOD. Oh boy, this is WWE/AEW borderline bad-level in terms of length. Here we go. Good showcase for the contenders to open up the show. Gabriel Kidd showing an attitude is the Kidd I'm familiar with. Lias/Cooper was another solid match. Feels like this one will have another round. Clever finish though. Apparently there was a tag team match that ended with an injury so it wasn't made available on demand. Fair, I guess. The scramble match was good fun. Most guys got their big shots in, but I'll admit there were a few participants I'm not familiar with yet. Aussie Open vs Sha Samuels and Josh Bodom is now known for its controversy. I won't touch on that because it's been two months since the incident. It was an OK match, as I didn't catch their previous battles much, maybe just the first one. I enjoyed the heel antics, especially when attacking the contenders. Yes, the finish was a clear botch by the referee. The cruiserweight title match was the perfect showcase for Oku, as far as I'm concerned. ELP played the defending heel so well, it was impossible to not root for Oku. This was really good and what the show needed to kick things up a notch. Tag match was enjoyable and had its moments. It did it's job as a warm up to the next evening's Royal Quest event. Not what I expected but they couldn't pull out all the stops for this one. The main event was a fantastic wrestling match, but went way too long than it needed to. Not anybody can do 40+ minutes effectively. Stakes were high and the action was great, however. Outside interference added to the dynamics. Both men deserve props. Comparing this with say, Epic Encounter earlier this year, this was a few steps down but a solid show nonetheless."
