221.07.2025TripleCrown7.0Such a shame we only got this once, but then again we should be grateful we even got this at all. WWF, AJPW & NJPW in a joint show? You'd have to see it to believe it, it sounds like pure fanfiction but it actually happened. I feel like they could've done a better job regarding dream matches, but we still got to see a few really good matches on this card. Hogan/Hansen was great, Tenryu/Savage was great, Tiger Mask (Misawa)/Hart was kind of disappointing. I feel like both guys were just too good, and they just didn't gel because of that. Hogan/Hansen is really something you should go out of your way to see because it's a very enjoyable match. Wish they would've put Andre & Baba against "better" opponents, no disrespect to Demolition but we probably would've been better off seeing two other wrestlers in that role. Overall, it's a very weird show. Not in the sense that it's bad, just more that it actually happened. Worth watching, we'll never see anything like this again unfortunately.
**3/4 im Fall vom Time Limit Draw.
429.04.2025Ajay003297.0Well this show feels like a fever dream, having WWF/NJPW/AJPW work together for a show is still insane to think of. But Nippon TV screwing NJPW over is really sad as we neither got a WWF vs NJPW wrestler nor a NJPW match being televised. Anyways the crowd looks hot and tenryu vs savage is the match of the night. Hogan vs hansen was also great. Overall this still feels insane that this exist. A superb show
524.11.2024lukerocker96.0I'm rating the show on an incomplete version since the copy I found didn't have the six-man the Liger match or the tag title match but I think its still enough to review the show. Snuka/Santana vs Kobashi/Fuchi is a fun fast paced tag match specially if you're a fa of dropkicks missile or otherwise. Crowd was into and the match was fun (7/10) Bret vs Tiger Mask (Misawa) is pretty solid on a technical level as one would expect, but its very slow dragging along with rest holds to reach the time limit draw, when they build up a little speed its really good but its not that often (6/10) Kabuki/Valentine and Roberts/Bossman are two adequate but unremarkable bouts (4/10) Tsuruta/Haku vs Perfect/Martel is a super fun match, very dynamic with the charismatic heels working over Haku building towards Jumbo's hot tag. Great work from Martel in particular (8/10) Tenryu/Savage is the best bout on the show. Just from the entrances both guys have a great presence with Tenry throwing the jacket to the ring and Savage immediately throwing it back at his face. Great work by Savage bumping like a madman and Sherri being a perfect heel manager as always. Tenryu gets enough work in the middle so the out of nowhere powerbomb at the end feels rewarding too (8/10) Warrior/Dibiase is very short, Ted does great heel work and Warrior looks okay (5/10) Demolition have the best match they probably could have against Andre and Baba, which is not much. Andre stunning Smash off a roar is a cool moment near the start but otherwise its a nothing match (4/10) Hogan/Hansen is a good main event, a lot of stiff brawling and blood from both guys. More fun than the american style Hogan that was the norm in PPVs at the time (7/10)
623.05.2024Gass32685.0Was able to find the event split up into three parts on Daily Motion (a very mediocre YouTube knockoff). Solid show, Genichiro Tenryu vs Randy Savage is one of the best matches WWF/E's Golden Era.
705.08.2017jboyaquar This is the show Savage made his legend in Japan. He took a backdrop bump, over the W ropes, that has to be seen to be believed. He was Tenryu's favorite foreigner to work with and their match stole this show. From memory I remember Bret/T Mask was disappointing and pinning the blame on Hart for not working hard w/ someone he condescended to being just a junior & Hogan-Hansen's mostly Japanese style being the second-best match. Hansen earned backstage kudos for quickly filling in for T Gordy.
