William Regal was one of the finniest characters on TV - he was also a fine worker but he was seen as boring at the time - he wasn't - he was just different. Of course, the less said about the main event the better. Your tolerance for having Flair all over a show will decide how much you enjoyed this weeks show. the wrestling, as always on TV in those days, wasn't up to much, but the show kept me entertained."

[3.0] "A tad disappointed as they are finally in a groove with sticking to storylines and plots, and coming off what I feel was a shocker in Hogan winning the title on Backlash, but they aren't able to translate that into a good Raw. They also are only like 4-5 weeks into the brand split and already have someone breaking the rules with HHH crashing Raw... only to get arrested? Hogan comes out for about a 5 minute promo by himself, then that's followed up by the main event of stone cold and the big show (huh? ) vs scott hall and xpac. Oh Look, Big Show joining NWO! WOW. Yeah this is the kind of shit that killed WCW. You'd think the WWF would prefer to do the thing that WWF did when WCW died, instead they're doing the things that WCW did when WCW died. Who the fuck knows what Vince and friends were thinking with this. Things I liked? I'm not a fan of Stasiak but his promo was pretty funny. And all of that, to get smoked by regal's nucks? The Booker T/Goldust vs Dudleys was entertaining for sure, all around, including the Booker T/Goldust/Scorpion king promo they threw in there. Women's match also wasn't bad. Trish is really improving. All of this to say that this episode is skippable unless either a) you realllly enjoy watching Scott Hall sell stunners, which he is great at... or b) if you are one of the 5 people in the world who love watching people turn heel mid match and defect to NWO like Big Show did with 20 seconds left in the show. Boring."

[3.0] "This was yet another Raw episode that was dominated by wrestlers past their primes such as Austin, Hogan, Flair, Hall, and Nash, which in turn hurts the show as that means the main event is almost always a guaranteed bad match. The men's tag that wasn't the main event match was the MOTN by a clear margin."

[7.0] "This show was enjoyable to watch. Brock Lesnar continued his feud with the Hardys and continued his push as the Next Big Thing. Undertaker and Triple H had a great brawl as Undertaker was definitely the top heel in the company at the time. Ric Flair is all over this show as is Stone Cold Steve Austin. The RVD vs Mr. Perfect match was a lot of fun, with Eddie Guerrero on guest commentary calling him Senor Perfecto. The Austin Flair confrontation was pretty epic, and the explosion of the crowd when Hogan came to the ring as World Champ brought the Hulkster to tears. The final angle with the Big Show rejoining the NWO and turning on Austin put this show in the 7 range for me. A lot of fun in this one."
