[4.0] "I dunno. It just feels like "I'm injured" is a bad way to sell the main event of the biggest show of the year. Not much wrestling. Angle vs. RVD was good for its length. Nothing too amazing."

[5.0] "HHH, Stone Cold, Hulk, The Rock, Jericho, Flair, Kane... these are all guys who will be participating in some of the biggest matches in 3 days (ok maybe not kane, but still), and they are not wrestling on this show? Weird, We had some very entertaining promos, especially the Rock/Hogan one, definitely electrifying, and for anyone who was on the fence as to whether they wanted to buy WM18, this definitely sold them on it... so as a go-home show, no doubt that it did it's job. But 23 years later, it isn't really a great rewatch. I'm mad that my boy Tajiri keeps losing to scrubs and hasn't shown any dominance yet. Makes it worse that he lost to TEST. I have issues with pretty much every match here as none of it was necessary for any stories. Maybe the UT/David Flair but outside of that it just seemed like a House Show card. It had meaningless matches, no stories being moved one way or the other, but entertaining promos and mic work. Gets a 5 from me as it is skippable outside of the Hogan/Rock staredown."

[6.0] "Solid go home show with strong heat in main feuds. Rock vs. Hogan staredown was epic. David Flair wrestled, adding to Flair/Taker drama. Angle vs. RVD was a highlight."

[8.0] "Go home episode before ManiaX18 was good. The heat in main feuds still lit. Even David Flair had a mathc that night."
