128.07.2025EmoForkliftDriver5.0Pretty mid episode of Raw which I'm guessing is because of the fact that it's a Christmas episode. Besides the main event, the in ring quality is not the main focus and instead it's the backstage bollocks surrounding the competing christmas parties of Mr Mcmahon and Ric Flair. Most of these skits suck in my opinion with both parties only becoming entertaining once the Texas Rattlesnake shows up. His bits of reading out his christmas list to Tajiri Claus was hilarious and him hiding behind a christmas tree to beat up Mr Mcmahon and force known homosexual Pat Patterson to look at old cooter is what you kinda wanna see from this era. It's crass, it's goofy but it's fun. Everything else is kind of the pits. Tazz showing up to start beef between the Santa Claus is not only stupid but Tazz sounded like a shell of the man he was when he entered the company. Maven gets interviewed in the middle of the party for some reason and has the personality of uncooked chicken which ultimately leads into a pretty rough match with Booker T. I haven't talked about the wrestling much because only the main event reaches beyond the 5 minute mark. Most matches are fine but aren't given enough time to really stand out. The one match on the mid card that did stand out was the egg nog match between Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson and not for the reason they'd hope. This isn't coming from me being a pearl clutching feminists, this is genuinely just a gross concept that is not even the funny kind of sleaze, just a general waste of everyone's time unless you're a prepubescent boy or a dirty old man. Yea overall pretty nothing show but with a good main event
225.02.2025thedaynos8.0I'm rating this high because I was thoroughly entertained throughout. Also maybe because my bar was low due to it being a christmas eve show and there were very little expectations in terms of moving any stories along or title changes... WITH THAT SAID, for what should have been a "throwaway episode", the main event had me thinking that jericho might actually lose his title. This was EASILY the best title match that Jericho has had since winning it at the last PPV. Fast paced and entertaining, wonderfully choreographed, and there were different times when I thought for sure either the rock or angle were going to win the title, even though I knew they'd never do that on xmas eve. Also, the Bubba Clause/Tajiri Clause match right before this was great. Bubba actually laughing like santa throughout the match was a great touch, and Tajiri bringing out holiday mist and winning was amazing. The lead up was great too. Props to WWF production team for all the little touches they do throughout the show to make it more xmas related. The two competing christmas parties was funny, and stone cold hiding in the christmas tree had me rolling. Then mae young coming through stripping? lmaooo. All of the other stuff wasn't that great. The egg nog match was fine for what it was, and Booker T killing Maven gave us a good fun look at Maven's progression. He definitely looks more confident and sharper than he did his last couple times out. Also happy to see Molly back after the mass firing. Back to the main event... I want to give an opinion on Jericho and how everyone keeps saying that he hasn't had a strong title defense yet since winning the title. Here's the thing... Jericho, at this point in his career, was not main event level talent. Not even close. He still has some work to do. Having him win the title was a nice surprise at the last PPV, but it does make sense that he hasn't been able to win any of these matches cleanly yet. It's because he can't. In a fair fight, Angle, Rock, Stone Cold, and Undertaker would all whoop his ass. Add in RVD, Shawn Michaels, HHH, and Chris Benoit eventually, and Jericho becomes that much less relevant. Of course they can't put the title on RVD at this point, but putting it on Jericho, or someone who isn't on the level of the guys I mentioned above, really makes the hunt for the title that much more exciting right now because they all know it's anyone's game. Also, Jericho was one of the last guys in the WWF you'd expect to turn heel because he was such a huge face and got amazing crowd reactions. So, he'll need to keep doing extreme heel shit (like winning cowardly or luckily) for a while if they're going to keep this going. We're weeks away from the Rumble, and as a fan, this kind of suspense is good to have, especially after the invasion debacle. My main gripe with Jericho's current title run is that he's defending the title on every show. It's getting repetitive and they really need to lay off of it for a while to make it feel more special.

914.03.2023kewf19884.0This show had very little in terms of storyline progression, which makes sense as it was a Christmas episode, but all the matches were bad in the first hour as was Booker/Maven, but the European title match, Santa Claus match, and main event were all good.
