But it's sometimes insufficient; especially since not much happened outside the matches, apart from Jericho's intervention and the Kong confrontation. In addition, women's wrestling was not promoted at this show, with only one low-quality match. The show's rating does not include Jimmy Havoc's match for ethical reasons. In-ring quality: 2.75/5. Thankfully yet again, we have a consistent undercard with no silly squash matches or truly bad matches (I know I'm in the minority regarding the AvBR match), although the one women's match was held back a bit into mediocrity by a combination of Brandi's lack of coordination in ring and a weirdly shoehorned Kong vs Kong storyline. The Lucha Brothers continue to put on insane matches, yielding my favorite bout of night three events in a row, this time working very well again with Scorpio and Kazarian of SCU and giving the Young Bucks a break to so they can tackle the main event. Said main event pit the Young Bucks against The Brotherhood (Rhodes Bros) in a very solid closer with decent action (Dustin held back the normal Bucks pace slightly) and strong storytelling. I was pleasantly surprised that the Bucks went over as it seemed almost too obvious that they would grant the victory to the makeshift tag team of solo stars in the main event, non-tag title type of match that would protect the Bucks even in a loss. The one weird aspect was that they cut off the aftermath promo to start the ceremonial check against gun violence outro segment. I really think they could have let those guys finish the promo, because the entire tension of that well-done match was left unresolved. Cima and Kenny Omega put on arguably the most impressive pure wrestling bout of the night in a non-stakes match that was given the resiliency factor of a return world title belt WrestleMania match with a year build. The feeling of match stakes was definitely overkill as compared to the very light storytelling around it, but I can only complain so much about a match that was just a pure joy to watch. The ring talent and average workrate on this AEW roster is just insanely deep and impressive. Great show, overall... and it could have been even better with established title matches. |

Unfortunately, next was Brandi Rhodes' opportunity to show that she has no business being in a wrestling ring with her match against Allie, which was one of the worst matches I've ever seen. Things got back on track with an enjoyable match between the Dark Order, A Boy and His Dinosaur, and Angelico and Jack Evans. Adam Page had a solid but unexciting match with Kip Sabian. The Lucha Brothers had a good match with SCU. Kenny Omega and CIMA had the match of the night before the Young Bucks and Brotherhood brought the show to a close with a decent, but excessively long match. |

CIMA and Omega had the best match of the night by far. Cody and Dustin vs. YB didn't have to go 30+ minutes but in the end it was good main event. Having Jericho cutting a promo to draw heat for his match against Hangman was a good idea but Chris' promo was kinda mid. However I liked the brawl with Page. Outside of the absolutely terrible women's match between Allie and Brandi, nothing on the show was bad but everything was just extremely average and pretty skippable to be fair. 6/10 |

Chris Jericho appearing here to add heat to his main event the next month with Hangman Page was really smart. A decent enough show here but not one I feel you have to go out of your way to watch. I will say that it's awesome this show was done for charity and went to a good cause. |

Yes, that's it. Seriously, the match is not bad but the Rhodes can't be credible adversaries for The Young Bucks and the match is way too long for what it has to show. Until now, every AEW match I saw with Cody (single or tag) just deserved a 7. Cody Rhodes is Mister 7. That's official. He always needs to draw attention to himself, to slow down the pace, to be overdramatic or to make matches too long for their own good. Anyway, this event was pleasant to watch ( I liked the Jericho's promo). |

Page vs. Sabian was alirght, Page didn't have to go 20 minutes with a guy like Sabian but the action was fine. SCU vs. Lucha Bros was good with some good sequences but that never clicked with me at a 100%. Cima vs. Omega was the match of the night: wonderful perfomances by both men and lots of great spots and moments. Brotherhood vs. Young Bucks was a forced epic but at least there were some nice moments that saved the match, still too long with a boring middle part. Overall: a good show with one truly great match (Omega vs. Cima) and some nice little matches here and there. Crowd was wierd: sometimes they were dead while other times they were very loud. |

While Dark Order and Jurassic Express would become over with me, through this match and many more, I am not a fan of the hybrid two, they were however decent here in this environment. Adam Page Vs. Kip was entertaining Lucha Brother vs SCU was great Kenny vs Cima was amazing, I wish Cima could be brought back for a few matches Young Bucks vs Brotherhood was amazing too. Overall, while many dont like this as much as the other early AEW PPVs, i just think all of the matches were fun, even if most didnt warrant extensive discussion |

Shawn Spears holt sich dann den Sieg und geht definitiv Over (***1/4). Brandi Rhodes vs. Allie war Pure Zeit Verschwendung und absolut langweilig. Zum Glück dauerte es nur 10 Minuten. Three Way Tag Team Match war auch gut und gibt der Dark Order einen guten Push. Ich weiß nicht wieso, aber Angelico & Jack Evans gefallen mir persönlich irgendwie garnicht mehr (***1/4). Adam Page vs. Kip Sabian fand Ich definitiv besser als es hier beschrieben wird. Grade Kip Sabian hat sich richtig gut im Match geschlagen und Ich bin wirklich gespannt wie weit er bei All Elite Wrestling kommen wird (****). The Lucha Brother's vs. SCU ist gut, wird aber etwas kaputt gemacht durch manche Botches während des Matches. Glaube beide Teams wirkten aber auch etwas nervös (***1/2). Die Lucha Brother's sagen dann nach dem Match noch das sie ein Ladder Match gegen die Young Bucks haben wollen und Oh mein Gott das kann heftig gut werden. Und das bei All Out. Kenny Omega vs. Cima das Match of the Night. Ein richtig richtig gutes Teschniches Match der beiden, dass Omega jedoch hier den Sieg holt und gepusht wird war klar (****1/2). Chris Jericho's Promo danach, was dann auch noch zum Brawl gegen Adam Page führt war sehr Gut. Bin Gehyped auf deren Match. Main Event war Solide. Mehr braucht man Glaube ich dazu nicht zusagen (***1/4). Insgesamt ein guter kleiner Event um die Anfangszeit AEW's etwas zu überbrücken. |
