[7.0] "Masato Tanaka -vs- Eddie Kingston [**] Kingston getting his wish of getting beat up by Tanaka. Excellent Sliding D for the finish. Rey Fenix -vs- Pentagon Jr. [** 3/4] Quick Lucha Bros fix. Cool and lovely action. But only a taster at how great they can be. Tajiri & DJ Z & Puma King & Samantha Heights -vs- Ortiz & Santana & Sammy Guevara & Diamante [** 1/4] More fun than great. Had a lot of variety with the weird selection of characters assembled for this 8-person tag. Tajiri looked more hyped being abroad again than he usually behaves in Japan, where he is shell of his former self. Guevara showed he has personality and the rest was okay. Robbie Eagles -vs- Arez -vs- Flamita [** 1/2] A sweet little action bout. Robbie came out of it in a positive manner. Jushin Thunder Liger & X-Pac & Hurricane Helms -vs- Caleb Konley & Jake Manning & Zane Riley [**] Tribute wrestling. Dragon Lee -vs- El Barbaro Cavernario [*** 1/4] These two are very familiar with each other and delivered a rather great match in front of a unfamiliar crowd. Their battles in CMLL are more organic and comes off better looking at Arena Mexico for example. But this was a superb effort and got a decent response considering Cavernario doesn't exactly have the biggest of fanbases outside of Mexico. Zack Sabre Jr. -vs- Shane Strickland [*** 1/2] These two had great chemistry with each other! The pacing was perhaps a tad bit slow, but the aim was precise and delivered with attitude. Both showed off their star aura and their high-level skills. Damn good battle! My favorite of the show. Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky -vs- Chuck Taylor & Trent & Orange Cassidy [* 3/4] The cool-down match with mostly comedy. Had laughs. Will Ospreay -vs- Bandido [*** 1/4] This was pure spot style. Great spot style, as they worked very fluidly together. Didn't have the same battle feel as the other great matches on the show, but it was a quality showc"

[6.0] "Fenix/Pentagon: ***1/2. Very good but far from their best stuff. My favorite stuff from them isn't as a team, its them as opponents. Nice to see them face each other, haven't seen that in a while. Arez/Flamita/Eagles: ***1/4. Good match. Had never seen Arez before, he left a good impression. Eagles looked great. Flamita also looked very good. Dragon Lee/Cavernario: ***3/4. You could definitely tell this crowd was unfamiliar with Cavernario. If they would been hotter for his stuff this probably would have been above 4 stars. Still very good. ZSJ/Strickland: ***1/4. This felt like it took forever. Wasn't bad, but a better crowd would have helped. It was good i guess. Never been a huge fan of Strickland, and this really didn't leave me wanting more from him. Bandido/Ospreay: ****. This was said to be a killer match in person. I can't say i felt that way watching it on VOD. Great, but that's it. Not even close to one of the best matches of the weekend so far. Good show. Definitely hurt by a crowd that wanted to have fun and goof off rather than see great wrestling matches. But, to each their own."
