So, getting this out of the way, William Regal peed on Big Show's leg at a point where the entire cast was using urinals lol. Is this going to turn into a long term plot? I dunno. Looks like Matt Hardy is breaking up with Jeff and Lita due to Matt not being impressed with either of them. Edge beating Test by DQ and teaming up with scotty 2 hotty and ALBERT? Lmaooo why are they doing this to edge? The Rock had a pretty good promo, but nothing spectacular. Big thing here is undertaking turning heel, which had some shock value but I'm not buying it at this point. The best matches were the main event, which was changed last minute by co-owner flair, and the RVD/Devon match. They're still pushing TEST as if he is a) a crowd favorite, b) current KOTR champ, c) a WWF Legend, or d) Vince's 2nd cousin. I'm guessing D. WHY? Show was pretty weak despite a few entertaining segments and a major heel turn. |

Die Bruderfehde wird langsam fortgeführt und ist zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch gut umgesetzt. D-Von zeigt ein erstaunlich gutes Match und gerade Rock und Jericho sind wieder bärenstark. Das i-Tüpfelchen wird dann (nach einem recht vorhersehbaren Kiss-My-Ass-Club-Segment) durch den Undertaker gesetzt. |

Fast alle Matches überschreiten nur knapp die drei Minuten Marke, wenn überhaupt. Nur das Tag Team Match geht länger. In diesem pinnt The Rock Jericho (seinem nächsten PPV-Gegner) nach einem ganz normalen DDT. Sowas würde man nicht mal mit Cena oder Reings booken und damals haben es die Fans sogar gekauft. Das (sehr) lange Endsegment rettet die Ausgabe noch, mit einem Heel Turn des Undertaker, wo man den JRs Beliebtheit in Oklahoma perfekt ausnutzt. |

Zunächst machen sich aber erst einmal Angle und McMahon Luft bezüglich - Steve Austins, und das Titelpicture gilt es zu durchleuchten. Zwischenzeitlich holt sich Flair etwas Authorität. Jeff Hardy wieder zu riskant und Christian behält den Gürtel. Van Dam hingegen wird der Favoritenrolle gerecht. Bei den Damen - sagen wir mal so - kann man George Clooney absolut verstehen. Die Promo zwischen Rock und Jericho ist sehr sehenswert - besonders The Great One dreht mal wieder ordentlich auf. Test mit der DQ - und Scotty und Albert im Nacken. Es ist schön, wenn man nichts dem Zufall überlässt - und William Regal hat seine Brass Knucks, quasi die Vorstufe zur 'Power Of The Punch'. Nachdem Flair seine Kompetenzen ausspielt, ist das Match für Kane & Rock machbar - aber es ist nicht besonders gut anzusehen. Der Kiss-My-Ass Club-Beitritt von Austin findet nicht statt, wie Mr. McMahon schmerzvoll erfahren muss. Im Ring gibt es trotz interessanter Ansetzungen heute wenig Sehenswertes, aber die Grenzen werden stellenweise neu abgesteckt und geradliniger herausgearbeitet, als noch in der Alliance-Story. Übergangs-Episode, mehr nicht zwingend. |
