[8.0] "First Half Time Heat show in 19 years, one match on the card and it was a great one at that! All six men working really well together, with Adam Cole and Ricochet being the stand outs for me."

[7.0] "I like the idea and I wish they'd do it again. The match wasn't special and the storyline involving it was really the first step in NXT getting a bit too messy regarding their biggest stars and, in particular, #DIY."

[7.0] "This Halftime Heat was a little under 30 minutes long. It had one match and it was a good one at that."

[6.0] "Maybe not living in the US i didn't get the importance of this special, but I bore myself so much watching 3-on-3 tag matches, I get the fact that you wanted to showcase some of your best talents as many numerosly as you can, but the teams were random and the result itself was just OK to me"

[8.0] "I don't really know what took 20 years to bring back the Halftime Heat concept, but hopefully it'll stick around. While I don't think this year's match will go down as a classic like the 1999 Rock-Mankind empty arena bout, it certainly accomplished what it needed to - providing a showcase for some of the major up-and-coming talent on the NXT roster to a wide audience, and providing a very entertaining six-man tag team match with everyone getting time to show their stuff."

[9.0] "Very good match for the return of a concept that is very worthwhile and hopefully it becomes an annual tradition. In less than 30 minutes there was a lot of action, great sequences of movements, exposure of existing rivalries and good distribution of time to make each wrestler shine."

It was a great call to have it happen live and to NOT have it be in an empty arena this time around, and it was a great match. The massive push of The Velveteen Dream continues. I hope to see this halftime show become an annual tradition from here on out, because it's a lot better than the NFL's halftime show."
