[8.0] "The second anniversary show from Defy was a good one. Had a bit of everything one would expect. Cody Chhun vs Robbie Eagles was a fun and competitive match. Got a decent amount of time to showcase both men. Eagles looked good with his method of targeting the leg of Chhun. The tag title match was awesome. Lot of back and forth between both teams with both looking good. Match could have gone either way. Big Jack Cunningham and Moose was a special attraction match at best. It was a solid match that filled the time nicely. Defy to Survive was fun for what it was, but ultimately failed to feel as important as it was made out to be. The Bucks appearing got a nice pop, so there was that. Spencer and Xavier has a very good encounter that played off the fact that both men are high fliers. Solid title match. The 6 man main event match was fantastic. It was all over the place with a lot of high impact moves going around. SCU were great as I haven't seen them as a unit before. Decisive finish too. On to the next one!"
