[5.0] "I thought it was an okay episode of Raw, but to be honest outside of the main event and the two segments that set it up, this was a total filler show. It was particularly disappointing to see a submission tag team match between Benoit/Jericho vs Angle/Regal end after only 2 minutes of action as that really highlights how inconsequential all the matches was on the undercard. Undertaker/Kane/Hardys vs Austin/HHH/E&C is the only worthwhile match on the whole show and they do some good stuff to hype up the Backlash main event where Austin and Triple H get a brutal beatdown of where they weaken them further with chairs in the opening segment."

[3.0] "A very weak go home episode of Raw, in that it did a poor job of promoting Backlash, was full of weak matches outside of the main event, and there were two HHH/Austin talking segments on this show. The energy of the Attitude Era is fading, as complacency and a lack of urgency in the product are starting to show. Benoit/Jericho vs. Angle/Regal getting only two minutes is borderline criminal, even in 2001."

[3.0] "An extremely poor episode stuffed full of boring talking segments and matches that run only a couple of minutes with a lot of dodgy finishes. Everything is geared towards building the BoD/Two Man Power Trip PPV match which is obviously an enormous step down from Rock/Austin. This is the worst Raw has been for a very long time."

[6.0] "The stuff with the two man power trip and the brothers of destruction all night long was really good and helped to build towards a match that had such a short build. Rest of the show is full of meh segments and short matches. I wish that tag team submission match got more time with how much they hyped it, also Shane got an insane pop for just doing a run in lol."
