[4.0] "Why are we acting like this PPV was good? This mainly served to build Kofi's hype by tricking the viewer into thinking Vince gave him a title shot, while instead having to watch him get destroyed by The Bar while Ali got the third spot in the title match. The Shield was there too I guess."

[9.0] "Asuka Vs Rose, the handicap match, the WWE Women's Tag Title match and Becky Vs Charlotte were all either whatever or complete duds, but Usos Vs Miz and Shane is solid, the WWE World Tag Title triple threat is great, both the WWE US Title fatal four way and The Shield's actual last ever match are fantastic and Bryan Vs Kevin Vs Ali is incredible. Overall WWE Fastlane (2019) is such a great show and easily the best of it's kind."

[5.0] "An average PPV, with great and bad match and without a particular costancy for the quality of the main card. Fortunately, the match for the WWE Title and Ambrose's WWE farewell in a main PPV were very great, and save partially the PPV to the absolute mediocrity. (5.5/10)"

Usos/McMiz, RAW Tag Title three way, US Title four way, Bryan/Owens/Ali, and The Shield reunion were all good to great matches and definitely worth a look."

[7.0] "This year's installment somewhat overperformed on Fastlane's usual status as a filler or throwaway show. While Shield reunions may be a bit overplayed by this point, this one still had a good backstory behind it as they come together for - maybe - the last time Roman returns from his illness and Ambrose heads into his apparent departure for a very solid main event match. The Bryan-Owens-Ali three-way title match quickly overcame the crowd's disappointment in Kofi not being part of it to become the match of the night, Becky-Charlotte got where it needed to even if the outcome was obvious, and the rest of the card was quite solid overall."

[6.0] "The Miz & Shane vs. The Usos II was a huge upgrade from their first meeting, and it definitely surprised me in how good it was - very hot action from start to finish + an awesome post-match angle (***1/4), Asuka/Mandy felt like a fine, yet overbooked TV-match; nothing about it was very good or bad, but it was just there (*3/4), didn't care for the RAW Tag Championship Match at all - just a collection of overly choreographed spots (*), The US-Title 4-Way was absolutely awesome though; all 4 men killed it, especially Joe & Rey who both looked really great in the thing (***3/4), Bayley & Sasha vs. Tamina & Nia was very short, but they packed a solid little match into the time they got (**), Bryan/Ali/Owens was the best match of the night, and it's one of the better triple threats in WWE history - terrific performances from all involved & really great action from start to finish (****), Becky/Charlotte was what it was, solid yet very meh (**), didn't care for the first half of the main event, but once things went to the outside, it got rockin' & remained GREAT till the end - a classic Shield banger perhaps for the last time ever (***1/2). Overall Fastlane was actually a very solid PPV. 4 matches were awesome, with one of them being really great, and then the rest was forgettable, but not awful except for the RAW tag championship match which I just didn't like."

[7.0] "Most I've enjoyed a main roster WWE event in a while. WWE title match was my MOTN, although the US and Raw tag title matches were also good. Main event was decent, but went a little long. The rest of the matches, however can be missed, as they seemed to be there just to further storylines heading into Mania."

[5.0] "Minuses: Mustafa Ali in the title match? Anyone saw how he got NO reaction? Poor guy... he is going to get wasted. What greatly diminished this show in my eyes was Charlotte Flair vs. Becky. It was an absolute joke. Becky sold that leg horribly. Charlotte just isn't good or exciting either as a heel or as a face. Pushing Kofi by burying him? Interesting concept. Leads nowhere but down, down. Poor Kofi. No heat in the main event because the heels are weak and already dead in the water. Miz as a babyface selling to a non-wrestler in his late 40s? Doesn't work for me. WWE title still not respected and not given a main event spot on a ppv. I hate when tradition is sput on. Pluses: Tag matches were entertaining, liked the airclash spot between Shane and an Uso. The US title match was the best match of the night for me. The WWE title match wasn't a bad match wrestling-wise, it just lacked heat because of the poor handling of Kofi and Mustafa Ali's lack of bulidup. Main event was also entertaining thanks largely to the high spots. Elias. The best character in WWE. Period. What a shame he is an extra in a horrible build-up for an AJ vs. Orton match which does NOTHING for either of these two. Orton has always been boring, anyway. Elias should be a top midcarder near the main event now. He is over naturally, so he doesn't get a push. I give a 5/10 for some good quality wrestling, but poor build-up, some terrible acting and awful stories. It just doesn't feel like we are in the Wrestle Mania season. Respect tradition, please WWE."

[6.0] "Overall, I rate this as a satisfactory PPV leading into WrestleMania. The Usos vs. McMiz was pretty good, but incredibly predictable (***1/4). Asuka vs. Mandy Rose was about as good as you would expect, didn't go longer or shorter than necessary, and I thought they had a very clever ending (**1/4). The Bar vs. Kofi was basically an extended squash match, but I know it was just to further the storyline which will end with Kofi winning the WWE title at Mania (*1/4). The Raw tag team title match was great, as expected (****). The US title match was an unexpected surprise that turned into a great match (****). The women's tag title match was definitely the weakest match of the show, with several missteps and overall sloppiness throughout (*1/2). The WWE title match being turned into a Triple Threat last-minute was also a surprise, but Ali held his own and that was also a great match (****). Becky vs. Charlotte was nowhere near as good as I thought it would be, but I actually like the way it ended (**1/4). The main event was match of the night for me. The emotion was palpable, the action was great, and it ended the right way (****1/2)."

[7.0] "This was a weird one for me. Many changes and swerves but none that were negative. All in all, I'd say this was a solid PPV. I'll rate every match except for Bar vs Kofi as it was more of a moment then a match //// McMiz vs Usos was good, your standard tag match similar to their recent meeting. Really loved the in-air collision spot. The heel turn wasn't a shock but what was a shock was who did it (***) //// Asuka vs Mandy missed the mark for me. I actually didn't mind the finish but Mandy is just not at the level of the main event yet which resulted in some clunkiness. Also very boring, no one had any reason to believe Mandy stood a chance (*1/2) //// Raw Tag 3 Way - Awesome match that showcased all 3 teams. Some really great tag work and I loved Chad tagging Ricochet in mid-air (***3/4) //// US 4 Way - Awesome, on the same level as their Smackdown match this had everything and all 4 men mesh really well! Great athleticism from all 4 (****) //// The women's tag match was exactly as I expected: Mediocre. Can we PLEASE stop pushing Nia? (*3/4) //// The WWE triple threat match was awesome. The crowd initially booing Mustafa (hypocrites) then gradually cheering for him is a testament to his character work. Lots of brutal apron spots and that dive by Kevin where he almost cracked his skull on the edge of the table was scary! (****1/2) //// Charlotte vs Becky was disappointing. Very boring and predictable. I did like the finish, however, as it made sense and protected both women. (**) //// Ah yes, the main event. Lots of emotions and cool moments but this felt more like a house show main event than a PPV main event but of course, it's the shield so why would they do anything but be in the main event. Anyways, I thought that this was a solid match that felt like a brawl between 2 teams who despised each other. (****1/4)"

[8.0] "Yet another really good WWE PPV. WWE may have horrible TV but their PPVs have been awesome since Summerslam and this was no exception. Solid pre show. Fun opener with a great angle. Really good tag title match and a very good four way match. The WWE title match was a total banger and borderline great. And the main event was also near great. Shield is back baby. Shame about the women letting the show down all shitting the bed. That Charlotte vs Becky match was horrific. Uso vs Miz/Shane - [***]. Mandy Rose vs Asuka - [*]. Bar vs Kofi - [ANGLE]. Three Way Tag - [***1/4]. 4-Way Us title match - [***1/2]. Women's tag title match - [NR]. WWE title match - [***3/4]. Becky Lynch vs Charlotte - [DUD]. Shield match - [***3/4]."

[7.0] "The results being predictable, I was not hyped, but the content is very good. 7 and not 8 because the match-up between Becky and Charlotte was a joke. It's auspicious before WrestleMania."

[9.0] "I absolutely loved this show, the crowd was hot, Elias was funny and this show contained some great matches. The SD Tag team Championship match (***1/2) was a decent match that delivered some solid unexpected spots such as Miz diving to the outside and Shane colliding with an Uso mid air. The heel turn by Shane was expected imo, but I still found it pretty enjoyable. Asuka vs Mandy Rose (**) didn't really have much to it, but I enjoyed looking at Mandy Rose. For a moment I almost thought Kofi would be added to the WWE Championship match, but he was screwed again. The Bar vs Kofi match (*1/2) was just a beat down, and the match wasn't meant to be good it was meant to further Kofi's push. The Raw triple threat tag team match (****) was very entertaining and should've went on longer, all the men involved put on a solid performance. The United States Championship match(****) was also very entertaining with some amazing spots, but I couldn't help but feel that Truth held the match back by slowing the pace and looking lost at times. The women's tag team championship match (**) was boring to me in all honesty. I was surprised by the Beth Phoenix beatdown that occured after the match, and I expect to see her in a ring soon. The WWE Championship match (****1/2) was great and very entertaining, I consider it to be MOTN all 3 men brought their A-Games and I loved the fire in Owens. Becky vs Charlotte (**2/3) was okay, the match ended just when it was really starting to get good, I did enjoy Charlotte being a dominant heel though. The Shield vs Corbin, Lashley, and McIntyre (****1/2) was also a great match that gave me chills. It was a classic Shield style brawl that just oozed energy. The ending was great. Overall this is one of the best main roster shows I have seen in a long time."
