[7.0] "MUCH better show than last week. It's kind of a shame they don't follow up much more with The Hardys going after Austin and Triple H after this as there was actually some good stuff with that on this show and it felt like they really could have taken a risk and had Austin defending his title against Matt Hardy at Backlash as Hardy attacks Austin backstage with a chair with him looking for revenge for what he did to Lita. The main event was Triple H winning back his IC Title from Jeff and there's another brutal beat down of the Hardys afterwards where Taker and Kane make the save when they was about to attack Lita again. There was a really good Angle v Jericho match with a fine Regal v Benoit match immediatly afterwards where Jericho and Benoit was fully united as a team at the end. The wrestling was a lot better on this show than anything since WrestleMania where there was a pretty unique Tag Title match where The Hollys almost make an impossible comeback against E&C after Rhyno gores Hardcore before the match even started and Kane throwing Steven Richards into a truck like a lawn dart was hilarious. The weekly Dudleys vs X-Factor matches need to get in the bin though."

[9.0] "I loved this. Two fantastic matches, average mid card matches and great promo's. The ending with BoD coming to save Lita is classic and one of my favorite moments in WWF."

[7.0] "This is definitely the best show they've managed since Wrestlemania. There's a couple of great matches in Jericho/Angle/ and Triple H/Jeff and the segments are generally better than they have been lately. The Austin heel character isn't presented in such a ridiculously over the top fashion and is actually much more effective as a result."

[7.0] "This was a good show with more focus on wrestling than what you'd usually get during this time period. The midcard stuff with Jericho, Regal, Angle, and Benoit is very compelling.Angle/Jericho was getting good but we were treated to a DQ, that Regal/Benoit match was disappointing. Shame they ended the story with HHH & Austin vs the Hardy's as that was just starting to get good. The main event was a good match with a good post match angle to set up a new feud."
