"Match Recommendations: Randy Myers vs Shane Strickland, LAX vs American Gunz. Two very good matches on this show. Myers vs Strickland is breathtaking and the ME is a straight up fine example of tag team wrestling."
[7.0] "Defy did good with this one. Very good opening tag match with a lot of fun spots. First time watching the One Percent, and I'm very impressed. King Khash and Matt Cross had a very entertaining encounter that saw some fantastic leg selling from Cross, and Khash picking up a much needed win. Drexl and Dreamer only served to lead to a tag match, which seems to be the norm with Dreamer nowadays. Yet, it was a solid match in itself. The tag match was fun, as expected. Interesting developments afterwards. Strickland vs Myers was a great title match that was both athletic and had its usual comedic moments. Both men did a great job with this one. Schaff and Willie Mack's contest was another solid encounter that may have gone a bit longer than I would have liked, but that may have just been me. Of course, Willie pulling off a shoryuken was a sight. Also had some comedic moments. The finish was weird though. Not sure if it was a work, legit or a botch. Tag title match was a highly competitive match with both teams going back and forth, move after move, trying to one up the other. Felt like a fight at one point. LAX were fantastic and the Gunz showed why they're the champs. Another solid event from Defy, not their best but a solid show nonetheless."
