[7.0] "The 7 To Survive didn't warrant a full show booking but showcased the competitors in action well and elevated Aerostar and Dante Fox's positions with some great spots and using Jake well to sell their potential - Aerostar's in particular was classic LU booking - bringing the fun and the wow factor. Lucha Underground have booked themselves into a corner a little setting up a potential Jake - Marty The Moth title match, and you suspect on this evidence that Marty would be the face in that scenario. It does really feel like Jake needs to do something to earn the Temple's respect - heel or not - and this would have been a great match for him to put his body on the line a bit more, which would definitely have elevated things. Nice segment at the end - who doesn't love the gauntlet nonsense?"

I do think that all of the competitors did get a positive spotlight that match - including Big Bad Steve, who I think was probably the lowest on the totem-pole - did get a bit of positive exposure with the wrench spot(s). I think that this is a good piece of evidence of how LU books and manages their talent. You show off the positives of quite a few talents and showing a quality match whilst pushing another potential promotional champion."

[5.0] "Wasn't a huge fan of the match on this show, it was decent but almost half the guys clearly had no shot at winning, and the final 3 felt a bit repetitive with lots of slow standing up and moments to make Jake look good. Dante was the highlight (tho Aerostar's dive was cool too) and it picked up when it seemed like he might win, but of course he tapped and the crowd seemed really deflated. The best part was the AWESOME final vignette, Mundo with the gauntlet!"
