The card pushes luchadores away in favor of domestic talent who, in retrospect, are too problematic to work anywhere else. They go for Looney Tunes comedy bits nonstop, but nothing's funny because the workers aren't good enough, the commentary stinks, and the over-production hurts."

Trios title match is solid, not much a fan of Joey Ryan but it was his stupidity that cost them after all. New Rabbit Tribe looks pretty exciting. Not really a fan of this Jack Swagger push, seems like either Drago or Aerostar should be a match for him alone, forget about a handicap match. The match was ok thanks to some cool spots but I hope Swagger puts over somebody in a big way soon, he looks so disinterested all the time. Main event was my favorite of the night, shame it was so short but they packed a lot of good stuff into the time. LU strong, as usual."
[8.0] "Another really great episode of Lucha Underground. Action-packed that showcases both a great amount of talent but also how well many of the storylines are written. I liked how the past two opponents of Matanza have put up much more of a fight in the Sacrifice matches. I found myself rooting against Matanza The Trios championship match was fine; I do like that it was retained. The Nunchucks match was well balanced that kept Jake Strong's momentum going while keeping Aerostar and Drago in a relatively safe place too. (WWE take note) I'm glad that Pentagon got No. 1 Contender's spot, but it may've been better to move this to the next week. You had 4 of the most talented dudes in LU, and they barely got 10 minutes."
