[7.0] "I can only assume the average rating here comes from the lack of in-ring performances? But I mean, that's pretty par for the course for this era of WWF. The storylines carry (almost) every single show, and this is no different. Got some very meh matches for the first half, but the final two really makes up for that. McMahon in Texas is pretty damn funny, and Rocky and Mankind are so good. Steel Cage main event is pretty fun too, don't get that every Monday."

I also really enjoyed the show long storyline of Vince and the Stooges in Victoria Texas looking for Austin. Funny, if not a little over reliant on stereotypes- but hey that's late 90s Fed, what ya gonna do?"

[7.0] "This was a solid Raw that did a great job building up the top rivalries for the St Valentine's Day PPV. The Rock and Mankind yet again are set to have another match with this one being Last Man Standing. I have a feeling Rocky wasn't well as this wasn't one of his best promos, but it got to the point well. I enjoyed the skits where Vince McMahon went to Texas to try to provoke Austin and this goes very badly for him because he kept insulting the locals with one looking a little bit like him holding a gun! Yikes. He does actually find Austin, with Austin not taking the bait and attacking him. Austin actually looks more dangerous showing restraint like this and it this hypes up the upcoming cage match very well. There's a fun reveal where The Brood have joined The Ministry after they take a ritualistic beating by the Acolytes earlier in the show and their reveal where they was dressed as druids was fun. The last two matches are also very good where the Acolytes are a great fit for the hardcore rules setting and the Triple H vs Kane in the Steel Cage was decent with the interference from X-Pac and Chyna setting up the upcoming tag team match. Not everything lands with the storylines though as I really hate the direction with Ken Shamrock's character and his obsession with his sister and his 3 way feud with Billy Gunn and Val Venis is terrible because there's nobody to cheer for here!"

[8.0] "An enjoyable RAW. The skits throughout the show were fun and the Hardcore Tag match and the Steel Cage main event were both solid matches."

[6.0] "There are some funny segments with Mankind using Rock money all show, him and Rock have a good segment as always, and this time Rock challenges Mankind to a last man standing match at the St valentine's day massacre PPV. Vince going all around Texas looking to provoke Stone Cold only for Steve to just ignore him when Vince finally finds him is hilarious. Main event was a solid match with a good story although overbooked."

[7.0] "Interesting Raw is War episode like everytime. Wrestling is pretty poor for the most part. Even hardcore match is much worse than last week. Howewer this show is very good when it comes to entertainment. We have not one but two series of funny segments: Mankind using Rock's money and Vince's adventures in Texas. Main event is very good for Raw. Great cage match storytelling and a big victory for Triple H. Howewer unfortunately the ending is too overbooked."
