[8.0] "This review is based on what was aired on the December 27th episode of Defy Now. I doubt the other matches will be aired since WWE contracted talent are now limited to certain Indy wrestling appearances. King Khash vs Artemis Spencer was a solid match to open the episode. Good back and forth with the right man winning. The match that followed was a great encounter that played to the best of both men? s antics. Jimmy Jacobs and Randy Myers put on a great match that had me snickering in parts, shivering in some and wowed by the lengths both men took. Very good match. The Defy title match was the highlight of the episode. Both men played a fantastic game of David vs Goliath. Strickland played the underdog well, despite being the champ and Cage was just incredible for a man his size. Swerve did an awesome job of trying to take down the larger challenger. A moment worth checking out was when Strickland dove outside the ring, only to be caught and lifted up with a suplex into the crowd. Hard to explain, gotta see it to appreciate it. MOTN. As for the main event, it was a really good match but failed to follow the previous title match. I enjoy both Schaff and Walter, and while the match was hard hitting, it failed to click, for me at least. However, it was a good main event and if these matches are an indicator, this event definitely would have gotten a 9 or even a 10, if the other matches were to air. A great episode from Defy. Also, bonus points for Melissa Santos being the ring announcer!"
