[5.0] "This was a fine, not great episode of Raw. Earl Hebner did not apply the rules in the tag match according to precedent. The wrestling was not great except for the final match, where Triple H and The Rock had a fun match. Michael Cole continues to be a massive downgrade from Jim Ross. Stone Cold was missed."

[6.0] "An alright show brought down by an awful opening segment of DX parodying the Corporation, complete with Triple H once again doing blackface to mock Rock (what a surprise). No Austin on this show weirdly enough but still some notable things happening here include the Outlaws dropping the belts to the Corporation's Shamrock and Bossman, McMahon declaring himself for the Rumble and "drawing" #30, Foley beating up McMahon in the parking lot and Rock defending the WWF title against HHH in a serviceable match."

[7.0] "It's clearly not the matches that make this a good installment. The storylines are building, the Brood is coming together, Hunter and Rocky both get to look strong as hell while Test gets his debut, there's brawling in the parking lot, a Royal Rumble... "draw", I guess. If you're here just for the in-ring action, why are you watching WWF?"

[8.0] "I thought this was a very good episode of Raw because it does a great job in continuing the strong storytelling with Mankind over the last several weeks and The Rock looking vulnerable as the WWF Champion is also leading to some very entertaining matches as this had a strong main event where he almost loses the title to Triple H before he is saved by the debuting Test. The corporation complete the stranglehold they have on the titles where Bossman and Shamrock win the Tag Titles over the New Age Outlaws due to heavy HBK interference in a match I thought got to the point a lot better than their PPV match did. The McMahon promo mid show where they rig the draws for Austin and Vince for the Royal Rumble was really funny and it's a good sign for the rest of the roster where Austin was absent for this show, but there was still more than enough star power to carry it. The opening DX/Corporation spoof was alright, but Michael Cole kinda sucked the life out of it for me."

[8.0] "The opening segment was pretty cool. Royal rumble drawing of Stone Cold drawing #1 twice and Vince announcing that he's gonna be #30 was funny. Mankind beat up Vince and company only to receive a Rock Bottom on a car. Main event was alright with a chaotic ending as usual during this time period"

[9.0] "Just a very interesting Raw is War episode. So many things happened here. We have very entertaining opening segment. There is big announcement for the Royal Rumble. Brood started their bloodbath path. And of course rock bottom on the car is a very cool moment. Only bad thing is that we have no good matches. Even main event is pretty boring. Ending is very fun though. Test made his debut. This show is so great that I didn't even mentioned that Stone Cold isn't here."

[10.0] "The main event was good. Not bad. I am starting to buy into the Crash TV BS at times, but but then they pull some absolute nonsense. I will have to delve deeper when it is not so damn late..... Odd there was no Austin but they still get the high ratings."
