[6.0] "A decent RAW but with some low lows. Most matches end in DQ or with Kane coming out to interrupt. There was yet another awful drunk Hawk segment which makes an uninteresting storyline become a terrible one, which somehow is made even worse by having Regal come out to wrestle ACTUALLY visibly drunk. What the hell were they thinking? As for the rest, there was some interesting storyline progression moving into Survivor Series, mainly with Rock now becoming Vince's enemy, although it doesn't make much sense why you would make him defend his #1 contendership by challenging for the IC title. The Hardcore title is introduced here as far as I'm aware, and gets awarded to Foley as a consolation prize, who repays by favour by calling Vince his "dad". The show ends with a decent segment where Vince makes Bossman beat down the stooges inside the steel cage, at which point Austin comes down, then Taker, then Kane, and the screen fades to black as the three of them brawl inside the cage, which I guess is now on fire. Makes for a cool visual though."

[8.0] "There was a few miss moments on this Raw for me, but the main storylines and the set up for the Survivor Series tournament was really strong all show! The opening segment with Shane, who then gets interrupted by Vince was great with the rumours of him retiring being false and Vince really going mad with power throughout the episode. The attention starts to shift to The Rock as he now becomes an enemy of Vince and he ends up getting screwed out of the tournament because of a last minute stipulation and then Vince has him arrested. Considering it was booked as an angle, I thought Rock v Shamrock was really strong and I thought the booking bringing The Rock right down before the Survivor Series was really well done here. There's some craziness with Kane where he interrupts several matches and causes chaos. The last segment seemed like it was going to be drawn out at first with Vince McMahon ordering Big Boss Man to punish the Stooges in a cage, but it escalated when Austin shows up and then Undertaker and Kane get involved and the show ends with the cage set on fire! McMahon also sees that he can use and manipulate Mankind after weeks of insulting him and he gives him the Hardcore Title. Owen Hart also gets a really strong heat segment where he attacked Dan Severn 5 weeks after injuring him and his Blue Blazer persona being the worst kept secret in wrestling. The match quality besides the one I mentioned really isnt good though and while the strong storytelling does win me over in the end, it really isn't good watching a storyline where Hawk wrestles drunk or Regal clearly showing up in no condition to wrestle and still having a match."

[6.0] "Good RAW. Very story-driven than wrestling based. The ending is fun and chaotic, which sums up the attitude era at this point. Kane and Austin team up on Taker in a cage set on fire. The Rock is Vince's second biggest enemy after Vince gets him arrested."

[8.0] "Rock has now become the new enemy of Vince and ends up getting arrested later in the show after his match with Shamrock. Ending with Bossman beating the goons isn't very good at first but things pick up when Austin gets involved, Taker and Kane also get involved and the show closes with the cage being lit on fire while Taker gets jumped by Austin and Kane."

[8.0] "This was crazy hot. Yeah, the wrestling isn't the greatest, but the episode is hugely entertaining for its out-of-ring action. The Rock and Shamrock puts on the only really interesting display of wrestling. Rocky is McMahon's newest enemy, Mankind calls Vinnie his dad after unceremoniously being awarded the Hardcore championship, and Kane interrupts matches throughout. It ends with McMahon getting Bossman to beat up his goons inside the cage before Austin appears and beats everyone up. Then Kane and Undertaker appears, the cage is lit on fire, and the brawl continues. The extra attitude segment on the WWE Network shows us Austin beating McMahon outside the ring and inside the ring before eventually stealing his wheelchair, riding it up the entrance and breaking it. So hyped!"

[8.0] "Very good Raw that features great build-up for Survivor Series. Rock is now another big enemy of Mr. McMahon. His match vs Shamrock is very good for TV. Ending is something crazy and awesome."

[8.0] "He leaves, and Austin is alone in the cage and UNDERTAKER COMES OUT! TAKER AND AUSTIN IN THE CAGE! The Undertaker gets the better of Austin due to the nightstick attack and KANE COMES OUT! HE SETS THE CAGE ON FIRE OMFG! Austin, Kane, and Taker brawl... again... to end the show"
