[9.0] "This was an excellent show in my opinion. The matches were great up and down the card. The tag matches were all fine. Sabre/Taka vs Umino/Henare was decent but was probably the weakest match on the show. Ibushi/Yujiro vs Yano/Gedo was alright for what it was. LIJ vs Juice/Finlay was probably my favorite tag match of the night. I liked how Naito went after Juice's hand. LIJ always work well together as well. GOD vs Omega/Owens was really good too. I thought GOD came off incredibly strong. They were really exciting to watch as well. The CHAOS vs CHAOS match was pretty good. I thought all the tournament matches were really good. White vs Elgin was a really great back and forth match. Both men continue to impress me. Suzuki vs Yoshi Hashi was really good. Yoshi Hashi redeemed himself after his terrible match against EVIL from day 3. Suzuki is still MVP of the block for me. EVIL vs Makabe was a good brawl. It was interesting enough and I liked it. I was really excited for Tanahashi vs Fale and it didn't disappoint. Tanahashi worked really well and Fale was a great big man. The main event was the best match on the show. Page had an excellent performance in the match and absolutely dominated. This was easily one of my favorite matches of the tournament."

[7.0] "The match quality was really good, including a main even that was a great showcase for Hangman Page, who had an almost great match with Okada. Tanahashi put in a real shift to drag a good match out of Bad Luck Fale, although you don't need to ask how it ended. White and Elgin had a really good match, although, that was another match that was hurt with a cheap finish."

[6.0] "Page vs. Okada: Does anyone bother to watch the first 10 minutes of a match anymore? Another decent show but this is lining up to be the worst G1 in 5 or 6 years"

[6.0] "Elgin vs. Jay (***3/4) - Yoshihashi vs. Suzuki (***) - Makabe vs. EVIL (***1/2) - Fale vs. Tanahashi (***3/4) - Hangman vs. Okada (****) Some good tournament matches, nothing completely mindblowing but a solid show. Fale/Tanahashi delivered beyond my expectations, Hangman/Okada did wonders for Page and the rest was pretty good with Elgin/Jay being a pretty big highlight. Good stuff all round."

White/Elgin was a great contest, both men's best so far (****1/4), Suzuki/YOSHI was pretty good, YOSHI looks pretty impressive this year (***1/2), EVIL/Makabe was a great short fight (****), Tanahashi/Fale was MOTN and Fale's best single match so far (****1/2), Page/Okada was a star making performance for Page (****1/2). A-block has finally started to pick up."

[7.0] "A-block puts on another decent show. White vs Elgin was very satisfying to watch till the end, ****. Suzuki vs YOSHI was pretty nothing as the crowd didn't care for anything YOSHI did, ***1/4. EVIL and Makabe had a pretty decent physical match, ***1/2. Tanahashi and Fale managed to turn out a pretty dramatic match with a very satisfying finish, ***3/4. Page killed in in the main event against Okada even though he lost, ****1/4."

[8.0] "Ishii&SHO/Goto&YOH: ***1/4. Had to see this one. It wasn't so long ago that Sho Tanaka & Yohei Komatsu were having great Young Lion openers in Korakuen. Got to see shades of that here. This was fun. Jay White/Elgin: ****. Ugh. Every show with the abuse to the referee! Still great though. Suzuki/YH: ***1/3. Nice match. Didn't have the heat for it to be much better than that. Makabe/Evil: ***3/4. Very Good. Makabe's been good so far, better than expected. Tana/Fale: ***3/4. This had lots of BS, but it had a satisfying finish. Very good. I watched the end of this match over again and again. Okada/Hangman: ****. Page looked really great here. Great show."

EVIL/Makabe was really good ***3/4. Tana/Fale was good ***1/2. Okada/Page was awesome and showed Page can hang with the best. What a performance by him ****1/2"
