It was an okay episode of Raw with the KOTR tournament continuing where there was a decent Owen v Scorpio match and Dan Severn has a memorable moment where he makes D'Lo Brown verbally submit to the bow and arrow hold. They seemed to be building towards a Shamrock v Severn final where they reluctantly come to each others aid after the Nation attack them. The triple threat tag match wasn't very good, but there was a funny ending where the New Age Outlaws win by pinning themselves. Undertaker interrupts a bunch of filler matches looking for Vince McMahon. |

Mit den 3 King oft he Ring Qualifyer Matches hat man einen kleinen roten Faden abseits der McMahon Story um den Humanitarian of the Year, was etwas lame war, am Ende aber immerhin in einem guten Beatdown von Kane endet. Merkwürdig fand ich erneut das Auftreten des Undertakers, der gefühlt in 5 Matches eingreift, was schon etwas genervt hat. Ansonsten eher mau, die Matches geben wenig her aber immerhin bekommt das Tag Title Match 7 Minuten. |

I really would have liked to see them continue it. I skipped the Venis match because let's be honest no one wants to see a male stripper in wrestling. I really wished the Nation would pick up more wins but they haven't and are treated like a group of jobbers. The only storylines that were advanced were the Austin Mcmahon Feud, The Sable storyline, and the Owen Hart- Ken Shamrock feud. Dan Severen and Ken should put on a great match at the King of the Ring 1998. Overall, this was a good Raw but not as good as the last one. The highlight segment was definitely the last one. I liked how Vince got roasted out of oblivion. Austin is mad over still and I wasn't expecting to like the Undertaker, Kane, and Austin stuff. The Mankind thing is okay although they could do better with explaining it because they haven't really despite him being fired from the WWF in Kayfabe by Mr. McMahon. The D-X in New York was the funniest thing I saw in this episode. In ring action as I stated was okay. 7/10 |

The three way dance main event could've been fun, but you can't expect much with the LOD 2000 and DoA. The DX segments in New York are cringe-inducing as hell watching them back now in 2021, racist and sexist, but seen through the lens of 1998 they must've been great. The ending with McMahon getting roasted while receiving the humanitarian award before Mankind and Kane assaults Austin was pretty great. |

Abgesehen davon soll Vinnie angeblich eine hohe humanitäre Auszeichnung entgegen nehmen, weshalb er und seine Speichellecker gleich mal im Smoking auftreten. Unbeeindruckt besiegt Shamrock Kama Mustafa. Blackman & Simmons gewinnen ihr Match, wonach der Colonel mal richtig austickt. Owen Hart ist ebenfalls recht humorlos unterwegs, wobei Scorpio dann kein Land sieht. Chainz besiegt Droz und wird dann von seinem Cousin, dem Undertaker, aus dem Ring befördert, weil der ja noch an Droz will. Und danach will er auch noch an Mark Henry, weswegen Vader per DQ verliert. Im Anschluss bringt Severn ziemlich schmerzhaft den guten D-Lo zur Aufgabe, bevor er selbst von Owen Hart attackiert wird. Der Undertaker beendet ein Match zwischen Runnels und Venis, welches auf einem soliden Weg war, per Interference. Die Outlaws beenden die Action im Ring, indem sie die Stipulation nutzen und sich smart zum Sieg schummeln. Danach ist dann endgültig Tuxedo-Time in der WWF, denn McMahon macht sich für die erwähnte Auszeichnung bereit - wobei sich Austin noch benimmt, aber von Mankind und Kane attackiert wird. Seltsames Szenario und eine nicht durchgehend überzeugende Episode. |

Das Tag Match interessiert nicht wirklich. Owen gewinnt gegen Scorpio, gut so. Chainz gegen Droz war gar nichts. Slaughter setzt ein Triple Threat für die Tag Titles noch an diesem Abend an, na wegen mir. Der Taker macht Henry und Vader fertig, das Match hätte ich eh nicht länger sehen wollen. Severn besiegt D-Lo, okay. Das nächste Match wird dann auch wieder vom Taker gestört. Das Triple Threat war schrecklich, aber beim Finish musste ich dann schon schmunzeln. Ein Blödsinn. Das Ende ist okay, aber auch nichts atemberaubendes. Diese Show war unterer Durchschnitt. |
