[7.0] "Styles Vs Joe and Buddy Vs Cedric are both really fantastic and the six man tag match with The Shield is really good, but as decent the rest of the card is, it's just nothing too special and the main event is just bad. Overall the first WWE Super Showdown (2018) in Australia is a pretty solid enough show and a fine way to introduce new international fans to the product."

[4.0] "A glorified house show with a couple good matches and one of the worst main events in WWE history. Mixed bag!"

[4.0] "It gets an extra point because I was actually there, a novel experience. But let's be clear here, this was hardly a banner event, and 2018 was hardly a banner year from a promotion which isn't exactly the best ambassador for pro-wrestling. Add all that up and you have a recipe for mediocrity. First the good. Cruiserweight bout was excellent, Samoa Joe and AJ Styles did something acceptable. The rest? Pretty much all downside. Whether it was The Shield continuing to phone it in, Lashley & Cena's sub-house show stocking stuffer or the lumbering, pitiful trip down memory lame passing for a main event. Yikes. Atmosphere was fun, however."

[6.0] "As has been the case pretty much all year for the WWE main roster, good performances somewhat mitigate often-baffling writing. Several matches stand out, including Styles vs Joe, Lynch vs Flair and Murphy vs Alexander, and while the lightning-fast Bryan vs Miz showdown was a bit disappointing in and of itself, the feud clearly isn't over yet and this will likely serve as a story point going forward. The HHH vs Taker main event, though, really didn't need to happen, and sets up a tag showdown few want. No matter what WWE tries, the crowd just isn't going to let Lynch or Strowman be heels, any more than they'll let Roman be a face, despite the company remaining oblivious. Overall, though, a decent effort."

[7.0] "This event way surpassed my expectations. I went into this expecting a glorified house show and while that still could be argued I got a much bigger feeling from the event. //// New Day vs The Bar was a fantastic opener, both teams have fantastic chemistry and the finish was cool. (****1/2) //// Becky vs Charlotte was good as well. Wish they wouldn't have gone for a fuck finish but.... (***1/4) //// Elias/Owens vs Cena/Lashley was your average house show tag match. Cena's sixth move of doom is very stupid. (**3/4) //// Asuka/Naomi vs IIconics was what you'd expect it to be. I will say, however, that it was really nice to see them let IIconics have a win in their home country, I was afraid they wouldn't (**) //// AJ vs Joe was fantastic and this felt like a war. Both men did exactly what they should've and I will miss this feud sincerely. (****3/4) //// Ronda/Bellas vs Riott Squad was fine but very predictable. (**1/2) //// Cedric vs Buddy was MATCH OF THE NIGHT hands down! I could go on about it but this post is already too long for my liking. (****3/4) //// Shield vs Braun/Drew/Dolph was good but somewhat underwhelming, the match they had the RAW after this show was much better (***) //// Daniel vs Miz was a joke. What a way to waste a brilliant feud. (*1/4) //// Undertaker vs HHH was more of a nostalgia moment then anything. Very slow and clunky since both men are way past their prime and very old. It began to drag once it was obvious that Undertaker was literally running on fumes (***)"

[3.0] "A pretty good cruiser weight match and a solid Joe vs Styles match but not nearly what they are capable of. This was just the hits for the Aussie crowd. Taker and HHH was slow and boring, get these oldsters outta here. Asuka and Naomi did some butt stuff while the Iconics continued to stink at wrestling. The greatest wrestler on the planet doing dumb small package shit. I just don't think this company is for me anymore."

[7.0] "Super-Show Down Overall was good , its two pvp in raw at wwe that they make good. 1) New Day vs The Bar wasn't like their other matches , but still can say good enough. 2) Charlotte vs Becky , i like both girl and i am their fan... i like matches with winner and loser but at this time i like that BUT then paige make rematch in smack down , if they wanna make a winner was better they make it at ppv in my opinion :-s 3) Lashley & Cena Vs Owen & Elias , i like that last move of cena , that was fun :)) BUT match was normal oblique weak to me :D 4) IIconics vs Asuka & Naomi was bad. 5) AJ vs Joe was good but not strong. 6) Ronda & Bella Twins Vs Riott Squad , normal match to me , wish at the end something happened between bellas and ronda :P that would be good at evolution pvp we see ronda vs nikki bella :D 7) Murphy Vs Alexander , in my opinion BEST MATCH in card ! 10min time but many awesome actions. 8) The Shield vs Braun , Dolph & Drew , hmm ok almost good. 9) Bryan vs Miz was disappointing :/ 10) four LEGEND :x i am big big big big big fan of SHAWN MICHAEL , TRIPLE H & THE UNDERTAKER , i like KANE too :DD ok ok about match , in my opinion at their conditions match was good."

[7.0] "It was a very good show with some nice matches. HHH and Undertaker gave their best at this point and although it was overbooked they told a good story with some dramatic and memorable moments, so I think they deserve ****. AJ vs Joe was also great match, in fact I think that was the best match of their rivarly, so ****1/4 is a great rating for them. The Shield vs Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre was a nice match, but no way near the classic battle from HIAC. ***1/2 Charlotte vs Becky Lynch was the best women's match of the night with a clever finish from Becky to keep the title ***1/4."

Becky vs Charlotte was ok, almost bested their HIAC match, just a bs finish, Styles vs Joe was good, just kinda bothered with the way it ended, puts Joe's momentum down. Cruiserweight championship match was exactly what I expected - a fastpaced bout with a lot of highspots and I loved it, just like the result. The Shield vs Doggos of War was the best match of the night, an action-packed faspaced spotfest, nothing more, though. The rest of the show was meh, with Bryan vs Miz being a total disappointment."
